Breaking News: The United Nations just declared that Trump is violating international law by detaining illegal alien children!
The United Nations is launching a full press to get Congress to restore the cuts that Trump made to their budget. President Trump cut hundreds of millions in UN funding this year alone and unless you act, the GOP Congress is preparing to give it all back...
This month, we saw a truly radical ruling from Clinton Judge Emmet Sullivan. This activist judge ruled that Trump's asylum executive order was illegal because it violated UN law. That's right... a leftist judge overturned a lawful executive order because it conflicts with UN policy.
Well, now, the United Nations is doubling down. They are demanding that the Trump administration stand down entirely at the Southern Border and stop detaining illegal aliens!
This week, an 7-year-old child tragically died in ICE custody. She was sick when she illegally crossed the border. The anti-Trump news media was quick to blame President Trump, even though the child had been admitted to the Hospital before her death and was released after being misdiagnosed with just a common cold.
The story is tragic. But what is despicable is how the Left is trying to use the tragedy to shutdown the President's border enforcement. But it is not ICE or Border Patrol's fault.
On Christmas Day, the Department of Homeland Security finalized new rules officially ending the Obama-era policy of catch and release. That means that every illegal alien that Border Patrol apprehends will now be detained until their deportation hearing. The previous policy was to release them into society and hope that these border-hoppers showed up for their court hearings. Not surprisingly, more than 90% of them did not. They would simply disappear into American society to wait for the next amnesty announcement...
The United Nations is now trying to get catch and release restored and prevent President Trump from detaining any illegal aliens crossing the border with children in-tow.
The United Nations Human Rights Council is demanding "justice" for the young girl and her family. They don't care about the fact that she came across the border sick. They don't care that trained doctors are the ones who misdiagnosed her.
"Redress to her family should be provided and if any officials are found responsible, they should be held accountable. The government should also address failings within the immigration system, and specifically within the Border Patrol to prevent similar situations," proclaimed Felipe Gonzalez Morales, the UN's Special Rapporteur on the Human Rights of Migrants.
But here is the kicker:
"As repeatedly stated by a series of UN human rights bodies, detention of children based on their migratory status is a violation of international law."
The UN is trying to have the Trump administration blocked from detaining any illegal aliens who are traveling with children. With the majority of border crossers being unaccompanied minors and family units, that means practically all of them would be let into the country!
While the focus of the government shutdown has been the fight over the border wall, the spending package will also include billions in funding for the United Nations and its anti-American agenda. As currently written, this bill will restore much of the UN funding cuts that Pres. Trump has already made.
The GOP thinks they can slip this funding through because they think you won't be paying attention.
Now you know what they're doing. The questions is, are you going to stop it, or let them push it through?
Every time that we have given funding to the United Nations, they have used it to attack our sovereignty. Every. Single. Time.
For years, the Obama administration worked with the United Nations to bring even more unvetted refugees and illegal aliens into the country. UN officials are now trying to drag us back there.
We already have radical judges using UN law to force the Trump administration to let illegal aliens in. One judge even ordered the Department of Homeland Security to track down deported illegals and bring them back into the US.
Now, the UN wants to finish this and restore catch and release at the southern border. And they want to do it with YOUR taxdol.lars!
You CANNOT let this happen!
