Well, the President has done it. He just dropped the hammer.
During last night's rally, the President declared - unequivocally - that he will not allow obstructionist Democrats or Republicans to get in the way of his agenda. Either Ryan and McConnell fall in line, or he will shut down the government this Fall. Period.
The main thing that the President refuses to budge on is the border wall.
"If we have to close down our government," he told rallygoers, "we're building that wall."
He sees the same thing we are seeing: RINOs who are more interested in working with Democrats than working with the President. So, he's fighting back.
Already, we are hearing talk in DC that the spineless Republicans are going to double down and force the President to shut it all down.
He needs your help! Pres. Trump is taking fire from all sides, all because he won't back down on the promise he made to the American people.
Please, stand and fight!
It is actually hard to believe how pathetic the GOP leadership has become. And the American people are completely recognizing it.
In Kentucky, Senator Mitch McConnell is polling at 18% approval. Trump enjoys 60% approval there. In Arizona, Senator Jeff Flake's home state, the NeverTrump coward is currently trailing his primary challenger in the polls. People are done with the do-nothing Republicans in Congress.
The President just doubled down. If Congress won't fund the wall and the rest of his agenda items, he'll veto the bill. The GOP is actually excited at the chance to hurt the President over this.
It is up to you to make sure that the pro-amnesty, NeverTrump Republican cowards don't win the day. And believe me: they are trying to do just that. They are actively trying to sabotage the President's agenda.
The President dropped the hammer last night. It is time for you to drop the hammer as well!
