Wow: The United Nations is begging Congressional Democrats to restore their funding so they can help the new migrant caravan reach the United States!
A new migrant caravan is forming in Honduras and will depart for the US-Mexico border on Tuesday. Their goal is to test the border defenses and see if the lapse in Homeland Security funding will let them sneak into the country.
These thousands of illegal migrants haven't even hit the road yet and they have already got a powerful ally: the United Nations.
UN officials are once again warning the Trump administration that there will be "consequences" if they refuse to allow this new caravan to seek asylum in the country. They are threatening to take the Trump administration to court if the President refuses to let this new caravan in.
But here is the good news: the United Nations is currently operating without any US funding. Since the government shutdown, Congress has not passed a new State Department Appropriations bill. What that means is that the yearly funding for the United Nations and its programs has not yet been disbursed.
Democrats are refusing to fund President Trump's border wall, but they are trying to push through billions in UN funding without you even realizing it!
Every single time the United Nations has gotten its hand on your taxdol lars, they have used them to try to chip away at American sovereignty. That ends now.
Democrats are vowing to re-open the government by passing each Appropriations Act individually, and near the top of their list is the bill to kick start the United Nations' funding!
When the last caravan was traveling to the United States, they were able to travel across half of Mexico in just a couple of days. That is because they had help. Immediately after the caravan's leadership met with United Nations officials, they "coincidentally" got access to chartered buses to take them to the US border.
The UN also was caught embedding officials into the caravan to coach them on how to trick US Customs and Border Patrol agent into granting them asylum and letting them in.
Now, the United Nations is gearing up to do it all again and Democrats want to make sure that they can help the caravan using YOUR taxdol lars!
