This is stunning. Read this statement that just came out of Chuck Schumer's mouth.
"You know, he's now blaming China. Well, guess what, Mr. President, it doesn't -- even if it came from China, even if it came from China only, why didn't you do something about it???"
Absolutely stunning. When Trump announced his travel ban back in January to stop Chinese travelers from entering the United States, Democrats like Schumer called the President a racist and a xenophobe. They accused Trump of doing more harm than good by restricting travel into the country. They even accused the President of doing it to try to take the attention off of his impeachment trial (which we now know was a sham from the start).
Democrats are launching new investigations, but both Pelosi and Schumer are refusing to allow the investigations to look into China's actions. Instead, they want to exclusively investigate the President and his administration!
This is the first time in our history that Congress has chosen to investigate a catastrophe while it is still going on. Congress waited until after both Germany and Japan had surrendered before investigating the Pearl Harbor attack. Congress also waited more than a year after the September 11th Attacks before beginning the 9/11 Commission.
Except this time, Pelosi has authorized a full investigation into the President during this ongoing pandemic.
The first hearing in this new sham investigation was held YESTERDAY. Democrats tried to force Dr. Fauci to testify, presumably against the President, but the administration blocked them. Now, the Left is gearing up to try the same stunt in the Senate when Fauci arrives to testify there.
One of these investigations is being led by James Clyburn, the same Democrat who said at the very start of the pandemic that Democrats should use this crisis to push through their agenda items. He is teaming up with Maxine Waters. A parallel investigation is being run by -- you guessed it -- Adam Schiff, and that is in addition to the witch hunt hearings being held by the House Oversight Committee.
This is the impeachment push all over again. We have three different committees, working together, to try to tear down the President.
On each of these committees, Republicans have tried to open up their own investigations into China's role in all of this. Just this week, the Department of Homeland Security revealed that it has proof that China not only lied to the world and covered up the truth about the virus, but that China did it to give themselves more time to corner the market on medical and protective equipment.
But the Democrats want none of that. They aren't even willing to admit that the virus even came from China... They are launching yet another three-pronged assault to try to get Trump removed from office. If they can't find a way to impeach him again, then they want to drag him through the mud to make him unelectable.
They must be stopped!
While Nancy Pelosi refuses to call Congress back into session and Joe Biden has spent the past two months hiding in his basement, President Trump has been doing everything in his power to save as many American lives and livelihoods as possible.
He asked for Congress to work with him back in February to fight the virus, and Nancy Pelosi called him a liar and ripped up his speech.
And now these traitors want to use the coronavirus as an excuse to launch more investigations against the President? No Way!
