This is incredible.

Yesterday, Donald Trump signed four executive orders. The first suspends the collection of the payroll tax, applied retroactively to July 1. That means that American workers will now get an 8% pay raise. Donald Trump has promised to make the cuts permanent when he is re-elected.

The second executive order instructs HUD to begin working on protecting people living government housing or using government-backed mortgages from being evicted. The third executive order suspends government-backed student loan interest and collection. And the fourth order -- the biggest -- redirects un-used disaster funds to restart the Pandemic Unemployment Emergency Compensation Program to bring relief directly to unemployed Americans.

The White House contends that each and every one of these executive orders are legal and constitutional. The executive orders literally cite the statutory authority that the President has to do it.

Democrats are already promising to take the President to court. Amazingly, their Trump Derangement Syndrome has become so crippling that they are actually fighting to stop struggling Americans from getting relief... all because they don't want Trump to appear victorious.

But something we didn't expect was just how many Republicans would be against Trump's orders... and how many would be teaming up with Pelosi and Schumer to stop them!

Republicans are turning on Trump! Send your instant FaxBlast to Congress right now and DEMAND that they protect and support President Trump's executive orders, by any means necessary!

Senator Ben Sassse (R-NE) (shown above) is the most vocal Republican coming out against Trump's orders, calling them "unconstitutional slop."

"President Trump does not have the power to unilaterally rewrite the payroll tax law," Sasse claimed.

Unfortunately, the Senator from Nebraska is lying. The power that Trump is using comes directly from 26 U.S. Code § 7508A: "In the case of a taxpayer determined by the Secretary to be affected by a federally declared disaster... or a terroristic or military action... the Secretary may specify a period of up to 1 year that may be disregarded in determining, under the internal revenue laws, in respect of any tax liability of such taxpayer."

Congress gave the President this power specifically to provide fast relief to people affected by disasters or terror attacks. Anyone who claims otherwise is either ignorant or lying. It was passed as part of the Taxpayer Relief Act of 1997, a bill advanced by Newt Gingrich that saw all but one Republican vote for it.

Beyond the fact that these Republicans don't know what they are talking about, it is shocking how they are working with Pelosi to stop them. On Sunday morning, Nancy Pelosi held a cable news interview where she too called the executive orders "unconstitutional slop."

Pelosi is using the same talking points as the Republicans. They are working together. And it is not just Ben Sasse, either. Mitt Romney (UT), Susan Collins (ME), Martha McSally (AZ), and Lisa Murkowski (AK) are also working behind the scenes to undermine Trump's executive order. Rep. Peter King (NY) -- the only Republican who voted for Pelosi's "Heroes Act" in the House -- is also reportedly joining Democrats in opposition to Trump's order.

These people hate Trump so much, they would rather Americans continue to suffer than for Trump to be able to act by executive order.

It is shameful and it is happening right now.

It is up to YOU to stop it!

Cowardly Republicans are turning on Trump! Quick, you must send your instant FaxBlast to Congress right now and DEMAND that they protect and support President Trump's executive orders, by any means necessary!

Sincerely,

Joe Otto
