We scored a major victory this week. Paul Ryan put his amnesty bill up for a vote and it failed. 112 Republicans voted against it.
This never would have happened without you. You helped bury Congress with more than a million FaxBlasts to force them to stand down, or else face removal. It's no surprise that conservatives and moderates alike ran from Paul Ryan's amnesty proposal.
Did Democrats take the hint? No. They have now decided to push for ICE to be abolished entirely. That's right, they are now openly calling for open borders by abolishing the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.
They're not even hiding it anymore. They want open borders, even if it means having thousands of innocent Americans victimized in the process.
That is why they are blocking the border wall. That is why they are blocking border wall funding.
These Democrats swore an oath to defend the United States and her people from all enemies, foreign and domestic. If they will not approve the border wall and security funding, then they must be removed!
The White House released a number this week that was truly staggering. An estimated 63,000 people have been killed by illegal immigration.
The fake news immediately pounced and claimed that there was no way illegal aliens murdered that many people. But that isn't what the President said. His statistic talks about killings, not murders. That also includes things like drunk driving, vehicular homicide, and yes, even some drug overdoses.
The media and the Left are more interested in trying to catch the President in a lie than they are in protecting the American people.
We cover these cases. They are truly heartbreaking. Every month, every week even, innocent Americans are killed by illegal aliens and their actions. We all know the tragic case of Kate Steinle, gunned down in broad daylight on a California pier by a 5-time deported illegal alien criminal.
But do you remember the story of Sarah Root? A young woman had just graduated college with a 4.0 gpa when she was run off the road by an illegal alien drunk driver. As she layed in the hospital barely clinging to life, an activist judge decided to allow her killer -- Eswin Mejia -- to be released on bond. Since Sarah Root was clinging to life and had not died yet, Mejia could be released on a bond of just three thousand. When this beautiful young woman ultimately succumbed to her injuries, her family ended up spending more on her funeral than Mejia was charged for a bond. Of course, he fled, never showed up to his hearing, and hasn't been seen since.
Should I keep going? Let's keep going. How about Ever Valles, an illegal alien gang member who was protected from deportation by the Denver Sheriff's Department and went on to kill an innocent man who was just minding his own business at a train station?
How about Apolinar Altamirano, a Mexican illegal alien who murdered convenience store clerk Grant Ronnebeck over a pack of cigarettes? That's right, a pack of cigarettes.
How about Constantino Banda Acosta, a 15-times-deported illegal alien who got behind the wheel drunk and crashed into the Lake family's car on their way back from DisneyLand, putting their 6-year-old son Lennox in the hospital in critical condition?
How about Manuel Orrego-Savala, a 37-year-old twice-deported illegal alien who drunk drove and killed Indianapolis Colts NFL player Edwin Jackson? How about Roberto Garza Palacios, an illegal alien who crashed his car and killed an FBI agent and local fire marshal in Maryland?
I can literally list these all day.
These crimes were completely preventable. That one case included an illegal alien who had been deported 15-times before he drunk drove and crashed into an innocent family's car.
Let that sink in: Fifteen times... That means that he was actually able to illegally sneak into the country sixteen times.
Listen, I know that a border wall will not stop all illegal immigration. That is why President Trump is also demanding funding to hire more border patrol agents and expand technology along the border.
Democrats are now demanding that ICE be abolished. So that when one of these criminals does end up killing or victimizing Americans, they're allowed back onto the street to just do it again.
We succeeded last week in killing Paul Ryan's amnesty bill. You put the fear into these Congressmen and Senators and forced them to stand down. 112 Republicans voted against it. That is staggering.
You forced them to stop amnesty from passing. Now, it is up to you to force them to fully fund the border wall.
President Trump has already begun construction in California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. But he needs you to force Congress to give him the funding to finish it!
