This past week, the United Nations did something disgusting: They voted to begin a formal inquiry into "systemic racism" in the United States.
What is "systemic racism?" It is the notion that the entire American system itself is built on, and to perpetuate, racism.
We used to have systemic racism in this country during Slavery and in the Jim Crow South. Laws were on the books designed to literally treat black and white people differently.
But today's America is not systemically racist. Every facet of our society is not only governed by non-discrimination laws, but there are actually affirmative action programs that are, at least in theory, supposed to help make up for past injustices. The Treasury Dept. has loan programs only available to minority owned businesses, HHS has an Office of Minority Health designed to give extra help to inner-city hospitals and clinics, and affirmative action is well documented in higher education. The list goes on and on...
And yet, the United Nations is now investigating the United States as if there is an active genocide taking place here. All as a pretext for a larger UN intervention...
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo responded to the UN's new intervention and called them out for their hypocrisy.
"If the Council were serious about protecting human rights, there are plenty of legitimate needs for its attention, such as the systemic racial disparities in places like Cuba, China, and Iran."
This is why this latest UN intervention is so ludicrous. Think about all of the human rights violations taking place around the world. There are almost 25 million people on earth trapped in forced labor (aka modern slavery). And yet, the UN is now devoting its full resources to investigating the United States...
It is a sham. It is nothing but an excuse to launch an intervention into America.
There are already UN officials on US soil cooperating with the so-called "protesters." The UN Secretary General himself approved that. All UN officials are now allowed to participate in American street protests. Then came this bogus UN Human Rights Council investigation. Their hope is that when the final report comes back, they will have everything they need to launch a real UN intervention, blue helmets and all...
That is why we must stop them right here and right now!
The American Sovereignty Restoration Act is common sense. Since the United Nations is actively trying to undermine our sovereignty, thls legislation counters that by completely defunding the UN. The roughly 10 billion that we send to the UN and its agencies every year would be permanently cut off.
Not only that, but UN officials would no longer be able to enjoy diplomatic immunity on US soil. And as if it couldn't get better, not only would the UN be permanently barred from ever controlling American military forces again, but UN forces would no longer be allowed to train or operate on US soil.
This is a big deal, but the UN has forced our hand. 10 African American unarmed men were shot and killed by police last year in our country. Almost all of those police shootings were deemed justified, but the ones that weren't are being prosecuted. And yet, the UN is mobilizing as if the United States is Rwanda or Kosovo... The United Nations has been desperate to get a foothold in the United States ever since they lost their puppet, Barack Obama. They think that this is their last chance...
They must be cut off. The United Nations must have its funding revoked. If they want to undermine American sovereignty, then they need to do it without the help of the American taxpayers.
But only YOU can demand that Congress pass the bill!
