Nancy Pelosi is sticking to her promise. As early as tomorrow, the House of Representatives is expected to vote on an updated War Powers Resolution that is being written by everyone's favorite anti-American Congresswoman, Ilhan Omar.
Omar keeps saying that "we" cannot allow Trump to attack Iran. I don't know who she is referring to when she says "we," but it certainly isn't other Americans... She is siding with the Iranian regime.
The Resolution would require that Donald Trump seek Congressional permission before retaliating against an Iranian attack. Congressional Democrats would get veto power over defending the United States against Iranian attacks. Ilhan Omar's resolution also classifies the airstrike that Trump approved against Iranian General Qassem Suleimani was a "war crime."
Imagine that. An Iranian General launched an attack against an American embassy and liberal Democrats are accusing Trump of committing a "war crime" for retaliating...
In the Senate, an almost identical resolution is being introduced by Virginia Senator Tim Kaine (D).
Pelosi and the Democrats are wasting no time. They are rushing forward with this anti-American resolution and are looking to hold the first votes TOMORROW!
Qassem Suleimani was the worst of the worst. He was responsible for the deaths of over 600 American soldiers during the Iraq war. Not only was he behind the attack on our Baghdad embassy, but he was also planning further attacks against American soldiers.
And the Democrats are literally lining up to defend him. They are lining up to protect Iran and stop Trump from ever being able to retaliate against another Iranian attack...
I said it yesterday, and I will say it again: this is treason. To deliberately attempt to tie the President's hands to undermine his threats towards Iran and prevent him from defending the country is an act of treason.
And the Democrats are moving full speed ahead with it...
But here is where it gets really disgraceful. The Democrats are picking up GOP support for their pro-Iran, anti-USA resolution. Sen. Rand Paul has already hinted that he will vote to limit President Trump's powers to defend the country. Sens. Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, and Mitt Romney are also considering backing the Pelosi-Omar plan...
If all four of them end up voting with the Left, then they will have the votes to pass it...
This shouldn't be political. But Democrats are making it political. They hate Trump so much that they are actually fast-tracking a bill to prevent him from defending the country against Iran.
Their Trump Derangement Syndrome has become so advanced, that they are actually siding with America's enemies because they think it will help them score political points against the President.
Nancy Pelosi has said that she want's Ilhan Omar's anti-USA resolution to pass by the end of this week. That means that the first votes will have to come starting tomorrow!
What the Left is doing is shameful, disgusting, and yes, treasonous. And they CANNOT be allowed to succeed!
