For weeks, we have been reporting on Paul Ryan's efforts to pass amnesty on his way out the door. Now, we know what his plan looks like.
Paul Ryan has introduced what he is calling a "discussion draft." Right now, it is being circulated around Congress but based on the number of Republicans and Democrats supporting it, Ryan's plan is officially a veto-proof amnesty bill.
Ryan has caved on the wall. His bill includes 25B for Trump's border wall, but there are serious strings attached that would allow Democrats to claw it back if they re-take Congress.
But here is the kicker: If the wall gets funded, Obama's illegal alien "Dreamers" can immediately apply for American citizenship. Not only that, but Ryan's bill would allow them to continue to use chain migration to bring their families into the country. That happens the minute the money is appropriated for the wall. But Democrats -- if they retake Congress -- could pull the border wall funding without stopping these illegal aliens from gaining citizenship.
Instead of cancelling the immigration lottery as Pres. Trump demanded, Ryan's bill would give those positions to illegal aliens first. So instead of bringing unskilled migrants into the US from foreign countries, Ryan would use those slots to legalize illegal aliens who broke our immigration laws.
Yes, it is that bad. We are talking about millions of illegal aliens, and their families, not only being legalized, but given citizenship.
And Paul Ryan's office claims that this bill is veto-proof. That means that at least in the House, there are enough Republican traitors willing to work with Democrats even after Trump vetoes this!
There is so much going on in the country. Between the North Korea Summit and the impending release of the DOJ Inspector General's report, Paul Ryan has a lot to hide behind.
And that is exactly what he's doing.
Ryan is doing all of this to preserve his legacy. Since he is retiring at the end of the year, this is what he wants to spend his final months working on.
You can tell a lot about someone based upon what someone does when they realize they're limited on time. Paul Ryan sees that the clock is ticking and instead of working on things like welfare reform -- which he has spent his entire political career fighting for -- he is instead working around the clock to out-do Obama's amnesty.
Ryan is pushing an amnesty that Barack Obama didn't even believe was possible.
A year and a half ago, Paul Ryan was suing the Obama administration to dismantle his amnesty regime. Today, he wants to rubber stamp it and cement it into law.
And he claims that he not only has enough Republican traitors to pass the bill, but that he could even override Trump's veto to force this on the country.
This is Paul Ryan's dream. He won't be swayed.
However, if we can even force a handful of these Republicans to stand down or force Conservatives to fight with everything they've got, we can stop this from passing.
Ryan is moving this bill to the floor next week. We are out of time!
The GOP establishment is counting on you being too busy or preoccupied to mount an offensive against this. The only way they can get away with this is if Conservatives let them.
President Trump gave Congress his demands, the demands that We the People voted for. Paul Ryan's solution was to dilute Trump's proposals and work with the Democrats to even override a veto.
We have seen this play out before. Reagan struck a deal with Democrats for amnesty and a wall. We got the amnesty, the wall was defunded. George W. Bush struck a deal with Democrats for relaxing immigration enforcement and a fence. We got weaker immigration laws, but Democrats in Congress defunded the fence.
Now, Ryan is rushing to put his bill to a vote before Conservatives can mobilize against it.
He has to be stopped and only you can do it!
