There is no longer any doubt. Nancy Pelosi is a traitor.
Earlier this week, we reported that Pelosi had chosen to defy President Donald Trump and lead a Congressional delegation to the United Nations' COP25 climate treaty conference in Madrid, Spain.
At the beginning of November, Trump sent the UN formal notice that the United States is withdrawing from the United Nations' Paris Climate Treaty. Since Obama signed the Treaty without Congressional approval, Donald Trump has every right to withdraw from it on his own.
Trump ordered the State Department to stand down and stop all work on the treaty and prohibited Federal employees from coordinating with the UN on its implementation.
Pelosi defied the President and led a delegation to the treaty's conference anyway. But it was what Nancy Pelosi said when she got there that is truly treacherous.
"By coming here we want to say to everyone, we're still in," Pelosi announced at a UN press conference. "The United States is still in."
The President of the United States used his Executive authority to withdraw from a treaty that Barack Obama had no right to sign in the first place. The Speaker of the House, however, flew halfway across the world to undermine the President and tell the United Nations exactly the opposite. Pelosi told the entire world to ignore the President of the United States.
Nancy Pelosi is a traitor. Specifically, she just openly committed sedition. She didn't just tell the UN to ignore the President's withdrawal notice. Pelosi unapologetically tried to undermine the President and substitute her own judgement for his.
Nancy Pelosi must be removed as Speaker of the House.
The whole purpose of the COP25 Conference was for the United Nations to devise a way to implement their climate treaty's terms. Not only was the UN meeting to figure out how to impose their climate regulations on the world, but they also sought to figure out how to collect the billions in "donations" that they need to get their treaty off the ground.
UN officials announced this week that they would need hundreds of billions in "donations" every year to make their radical climate plan a reality. And they are looking for ways to force that bill onto the American people...
Pelosi not only attended the conference. She met with UN officials and coordinated ways for the United Nations to impose their regulations on Americans and seize your taxd ollars to fund their efforts. The Logan Act specifically prohibits unsanctioned Americans from conducting foreign policy on behalf of the United States. Remember, this is the 18th Century law that the Deep State used to investigate and prosecute General Michael Flynn.
The President and the Secretary of State made the determination not to send anyone to the UN's conference to represent the United States. That should have been the end of it. But Nancy Pelosi decided to take matters into her own hands and represent the United States herself. Not only did she break the law in doing so, but she abused her power to undermine the President's foreign policy.
Since the day Trump took office, Democrats have tried to undermine President Trump. They have launched their own shadow diplomacy efforts to undermine Trump's policies and coordinate with the United Nations to reimpose Obama-era policies.
We have known this was happening for a long time. But Pelosi's actions marked the first time that one of these traitorous Democrats walked up to a microphone and admitted to all of it. Nancy Pelosi defied the President, led a delegation to a United Nations conference that Trump had already withdrawn from, and collaborated with UN officials to undermine Trump and keep the treaty alive.
And now, she is returning home to implement her seditious conspiracy to stop President Trump from kicking the UN to the curb!
When Pelosi arrived in Madrid for the conference, she received a royal reception from Spain's King and Queen. When she attended the UN's Conference, she sat behind a placard reading "United States" and was allowed to speak as if she was representing our country. And when she met with world leaders, Pelosi told them to ignore President Trump's withdrawal notice and work with Congress instead.
And upon her return, Pelosi will put that seditious plan into action and force a vote on a bill to block Trump from withdrawing from the UN Climate Treaty.
Enough is enough. Nancy Pelosi truly has gone too far this time. By traveling to Spain and claiming to represent the entire United States in UN affairs, defying a lawful order by the President, she has grossly exceeded her constitutional authority and violated the law.
Democrats are starting to sour on Pelosi as well. Forty House Democrats were elected in red or swing districts last year on a promise to put the country first and not buy into the radical Left's agenda. They elected Nancy Pelosi speaker, and she has turned on them.
Pelosi promised these Democrats that she would not force them to cast impeachment votes unless the votes would be bipartisan. They were not. Instead of dealing with the real issues facing Americans, Pelosi has abused her power to undermine and even try to remove Donald Trump from office. And she is throwing dozens of vulnerable Democrats under the bus to try to do it.
If Nancy Pelosi's Speakership was put to another vote today, she would not win.
Now that Pelosi has openly violated the law in an attempt to undermine the President of the United States, it is time to force that vote!
She has gone too far...
