Robert Mueller was brought on to investigate Russia. Now, we've learned that he has completely gone off the rails and started investigating President Trump's past business deals. He's gone too far.
On Sunday, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein warned Mueller that he needs to get permission to investigate outside of the Russia scope. The response? News just broke that he has expanded the "Russia" investigation to include Turkey. This is out of control.
But the Republican establishment wants to destroy Trump, no matter the cost. That is why, even today, staffers are working behind the scenes to move a bill forward. Republican Senators Lindsey Graham (SC) and Thom Tillis (NC) have both introduced bills with Democrat support that would block Robert Mueller from being fired.
Here we have a liberal who is hiring liberal Clinton supporting lawyers and clearly in the middle of a fishing investigation that goes far beyond the mandate. Mueller's close friendship with James Comey should be enough to have him removed.
While RINOs are pushing bills to stop the President from shutting this nonsense down, some Members of Congress are starting to see the light. Congressman Trent Franks (AZ) declared last week that "until Mueller resigns, he will be in clear violation of the law." Congressman Andy Biggs (AZ) also has publicly called on Mueller to recuse himself.
Establishment Republicans want to see President Trump destroyed. They wanted Hillary to win, but you denied them. Are you going to let them steal the Presidency now?
It's actually pretty remarkable. West Virginia Democrat Senator Joe Manchin announced yesterday that he wouldn't be voting with Democrats anymore and he didn't care if it made him lose an election. He sees the writing on the wall. If he doesn't represent Conservatives, he's done.
Republicans, on the other hand, are doing the opposite. They're promising their constituents (in states Trump won) that they are going to continue to oppose Trump. Chief NeverTrump strategist Bill Kristol even just recommended that anti-Trump Republicans become "liberals" in order to defeat the President.
All of this is made possible by Robert Mueller's investigation. Even though there is no evidence of any "collusion," these traitorous Republicans are using the Special Prosecutor as cover for their anti-Trump crusade.
Now that it is clear Mueller is going out of bounds, they are rushing to stop Trump or others in the administration from firing him.
Not on my watch!
Trump shouldn't need to even consider taking action. Congress must put an end to this witch hunt.
Luckily, there are Members of Congress who see what is happening. People like Rep. Franks and Biggs see that this is a partisan witch hunt being egged on by the establishment and they're committed to shutting it down
But they can't do it alone. Establishment Republicans are working with Democrats to make sure President Trump remains under siege.
It is up to you to shut it down!
