This week, the United Nations is holding its annual climate change meetings in Bonn, Germany. In previous years, the Obama administration footed the bill. This year, President Trump announced he was pulling the plug. Not only on funding the UN Climate treaty, mind you, but on all the radical climate regulations that Obama approved here in the US.
Today, EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt will eliminate the Obama Administration's "clean power plan." This is the regulation that Obama enacted to comply with the UN's climate demands. He knew he didn't have the votes to ratify the treaty in Congress. So, he used an executive order to force American companies to obey the UN's demands. Well, that's over and the United Nations is not happy.
They are renewing their calls for the cowards in Congress to stop Pres. Trump from withdrawing from their idiotic treaty.
We already seeing Democrats and spineless Republicans lining up to pull the rug out from under the Trump administration. Last month, three traitorous Republicans snuck millions into the budget to make sure that the UN gets what Obama promised them.
Now, they are plotting to go bigger.
The United Nations is already starting to feel the pinch. They've lost the billions that Obama promised them and President Trump is pushing through major cuts to their budget.
Meanwhile, they are seeing all of Obama's radical climate change executive orders disappear.
Democrats in Congress are now pushing back. We already saw Obama holdovers travel to Europe to help the United Nations expand its gun control agenda. That happened just this past month.
Now, we are seeing Congressional Democrats working to prop up the UN's radical climate agenda.
What is even worse is the fact that they have help. When the Democrats snuck through funding for the UN's climate change agency, they had help from spineless Republicans. Senators Lamar Alexander (TN), Susan Collins (ME), and Lindsey Graham (SC) all teamed up with Democrats to get the amendment passed.
The surrender is already in full swing. Spineless and traitorous Republicans are already working with Democrats to surrender American sovereignty to the United Nations and if they succeed, they will drag us right back into the Obama era.
Shut down the UN once and for all,
