President Trump took to social media and unloaded on what he is calling the "Crooked Hillary Pile of Garbage": the completely phony Trump-Russia dossier that the Clinton campaign, DNC, and Obama-himself paid for and then gave to the FBI to start the Russia investigation.
Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) also released a bombshell: the FBI used this phony dossier in order to get warrants to spy on the Trump transition team. Remember when Trump claimed that the Obama administration wiretapped him and the whole media establishment called him a liar? It actually happened and the Clintons were behind it.
FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe was grilled by Congress this month and they kept demanding that he answer for his role in perpetuating the lies told in this dossier. As you remember, the Clintons' dossier claimed that Trump's lawyer, Michael Cohen, was overseas meeting with Russian agents on August 29, 2016. It turns out, however, that Cohen was actually with his high school son, touring the baseball facilities at the University of Southern California. The document is full of flat-out lies like this.
And McCabe knows this. He was asked point-blank whether the dossier was true and he admitted to Congress that after all this time, the FBI still hasn't been able to confirm the allegations in the document. Not all that surprising, seeing how the Clinton campaign paid a firm to make it up...
This led Trump to absolutely unload on Social Media.
"Wow, @foxandfriends. Dossier is bogus. Clinton campaign, DNC funded dossier. FBI cannot (after all of this time) verify claims in dossier of Russia/Trump collusion. The FBI is tainted. And they used this Crooked Hillary pile of garbage as the basis for going after the Trump Campaign!"
Congress is closing in. The who's-who of Conservative Congressmen -- Jim Jordan, Devin Nunes, Trey Gowdy, Louie Gohmert, Ron DeSantis, and Matt Gaetz -- have been meeting in secret to shut this whole thing down. They are preparing a bombshell report that will detail the entire deep state conspiracy to take down Trump. Or as one crooked FBI agent called it, their "insurance policy" in case Trump won.
But they need your help to shut Mueller and the FBI down!
The whole FBI coverup is starting to come crashing down.
We know for a fact that top FBI officials met in private to devise an "insurance policy" in case Trump won. That is how the Russia investigation got started. They admitted it was unlikely he would win, but one FBI agent -- Peter Strzok -- said in a secret text message that they just 'couldn't take that chance.'
We know that one of the authors of the Russia dossier was Nellie Ohr. She is married to then-Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr. Not only did she funnel the Clinton-funded dossier to him, but Bruce Ohr also secretly met with executives from Fusion GPS during the election. He never disclosed those secret meetings.
A lot of things get said during a campaign. Each side launches attacks against the other and inevitably stretch the truth a bit to hammer their message home. But what the Hillary Clinton campaign did is unprecedented. They illegally funneled campaign donations to a foreign agent and had him write up a fake dossier alleging that Donald Trump is a traitor. They then gave that fake dossier to the Obama administration, who in-turn used it to get secret warrants to spy on the Trump transition team.
The entire investigation into Trump came from this "Crooked Hillary pile of garbage." And yet, we're hearing today that Robert Mueller is about to indict Trump's former campaign manager Paul Manafort again on another bogus charge.
This isn't about uncovering Russian collusion. There never was any collusion. This is a Clinton-funded witch hunt designed to take Donald Trump down no matter what.
Conservatives in Congress are finally starting to wake up and trying to shut this down. But they can't do it alone!
I have said it before, but it is more true than ever. This Mueller witch hunt is absolutely Stalinist. When Josef Stalin wanted to destroy his political opponents, he would simply make up a charge and have them arrested. His famous saying was, "you show me the man and I'll show you the crime."
That is exactly what is happening here. There is no crime. The FBI has already admitted that they couldn't verify the nonsense dossier, even though they tried for a whole year. And yet, Mueller is moving forward, eager to destroy President Trump and his allies, even if he has to charge them with completely unconnected crimes.
The solution is to pull the plug on this witch hunt. Rep. Ron DeSantis has returned to shopping around his one-sentence bill to shut down Robert Mueller's anti-Trump witch hunt.
The bill is really just one sentence: "None of the funds made available by this Act may be used to fund activities pursuant to Department of Justice order 3915-2017."
That is the executive order that created Mueller's investigation. Cut off the funding and all of these anti-Trump hacks trying to take him down would lose their paychecks. Mueller wouldn't even be able to expense a cup of coffee.
Congress kicked the can down the road on their budget bill. They now have a new deadline in January to fund the government. That means that we still have a chance to pull the plug on this witch hunt!
Usually, it takes 60 votes to pass something in the Senate. But because this has to do with spending, it can make it through with just 51 votes. If it is attached to one of these reconciliation bills, Democrats would be powerless to block it. But only if we strike right now!
