Yesterday, the House of Representatives passed Nancy Pelosi's 1,800+ page stimulus bill, the ridiculously-named "Heroes Act." But only just barely...
We mobilized hundreds of thousands of Conservatives to fight back. The final vote ended up being 208-199. It only passed with a 9 vote margin because 14 Democrats ended up flipping and voting against it. If the eleven Republicans who were absent had shown up to vote, it would have died.
Mitch McConnell is now saying that Pelosi's bill -- as written -- is dead on arrival in the Senate. He is promising that the so-called Heroes Act -- H.R.3800 -- will never make it onto the Senate calendar. Instead, the GOP plans to work on their own version of a phase four stimulus bill.
While that is certainly good news, that doesn't mean that the fight is over. Nancy Pelosi and the far Left are still promising that their radical provisions will make it into the final version of the phase four stimulus bill that ultimately passes.
Pelosi is now saying that she will not allow any stimulus package to pass unless it grants "relief" to every illegal alien living in the United States!
The Democrats' plan has three parts: give illegal aliens (1) more pay and benefits, (2) permission to work in the United States, and (3) protection from deportation.
This is why they called their bill the "Heroes" Act. They believe that illegal aliens are the heroes!
The first part of their plan would give illegal aliens emergency "hazard" pay and make them eligible for government assistance, including subsidized health insurance. And yes, that would include giving illegal aliens and their families access to the stimulus program designed to help Americans.
The second part is also despicable. Right now, it is against the law for an illegal alien to work in the United States. It is also a crime for businesses to knowingly hire an illegal alien. But Pelosi's bill lifts that restriction. Not only does it prohibit companies from "discriminating" against illegals, it would also block the Trump administration from enforcing the law against illegal alien workers and the companies that hire them. At a time when upwards of 40 million Americans are now out of work, Nancy Pelosi's "plan" would allow illegal aliens to compete with Americans for blue and white collar jobs...
But the third part of the Left's plan is the worst. It would automatically shield illegal aliens working in "critical" industries from ever being deported. If an illegal alien works in agriculture, construction, food processing, transportation, logistics, sanitation, laundry services, or food services, they would be automatically given amnesty. That's pretty much every illegal alien in the country right now...
At a time when Congress is supposed to be working on behalf of the American people, Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats are trying to sneak through the biggest amnesty and illegal alien benefits bill we have ever seen.
And now, they are telling Republicans that this is non-negotiable. They are now holding American businesses and livelihoods hostage unless the GOP agrees to their illegal alien bailout plan.
Right now, Democrats are pressuring Republicans into adding these provisions into their phase four stimulus bill.
We already saw one Republican flip yesterday. Rep. Peter King (R-NY) joined the Left and voted for all of this. Pelosi knows that if she can just get a few more GOPers to flip, she can push her amnesty bill through.
You MUST stop them!
Now, more than ever, Congress needs to put America and Americans first. With hundreds of thousands of businesses and contractors on the brink of bankruptcy... over 35 million Americans unemployed... that is what Congress should be focusing on.
Except, instead of focusing on American workers and American jobs, the Far Left is insisting on a bailout for illegal aliens.
Pelosi knows she only needs to get a couple Republicans to flip. She believes she has the leverage. She is threatening to tank the American economy unless the GOP agrees to pass the Democrats' amnesty and illegal alien benefits bill. And as I said, we have already seen the first GOPer flip...
This fight is not over. It is just heating up!
It is more important now, than ever before, to put a stop to this before it is too late!
