Congress has now passed two Chinese Coronavirus relief bills, and there is a third bill being written right now aimed at providing Americans and companies with much needed assistance and access to low-, or even no-interest loans in order to weather this crisis.
But we are hearing reports from the same sources that blew the whistle to us on Nancy Pelosi's plan to try to sneak abortion funding into the last Chinese Coronavirus response bill are now warning us that something else is coming...
There are Democrats now floating the idea of sending additional taxpayer funds overseas to help other countries deal with the Chinese Coronavirus... Including additional funding potentially going to the United Nations.
Absolutely unacceptable.
The United States is in a virtual lockdown right now. We have cities and states scrambling to get enough medical equipment to care for their own residents... and there are members of Congress who want to send more funding and aid overseas?
It is time to cut off ALL foreign aid right now!
The United States is the most generous country in the history of the world. We have cared for more people than any country, ever.
But right now, we need to turn our attention to what is happening at home. When we get this virus under control, we should definitely share our success strategies and resources around the globe to help others. But we CANNOT afford to send any additional foreign aid overseas right now.
There is a reason that when you fly on a commercial airplane, the stewardess says in the event of an emergency passengers should put their own oxygen masks on before assisting others. That is because it is impossible to help people around you if you aren't taking care of yourself first. The same logic applies to foreign aid.
Congress right now MUST do two things:
First, they must finally pass the American Sovereignty Restoration Act. This bill would suspend all funding to the United Nations, effective immediately. How can we possibly be sending the UN and its side organizations billions with everything that is going on in our country? Instead of sending those funds overseas, we should be investing it in our country to help Americans who are in most need.
Second, Congress must suspend all foreign aid disbursements. This year, Congressional Democrats passed legislation forcing the Trump administration to hand out tens of billions to foreign countries and international organizations. How can we possibly afford to build houses for people in other countries when Americans are at risk of losing theirs? How can we possibly spend on food aid for other countries when so many Americans don't know where their next meal will come from? Democrats literally earmarked millions and millions to help fight poverty and unemployment abroad. It would be malpractice to prioritize helping workers in other countries when so many Americans are being laid off.
This is just common sense. We here at Conservative Daily have always been skeptical of foreign aid because far too often, the funding that Congress sends overseas gets wasted, squandered, or used against the United States and our interests.
Regardless of how you feel about foreign aid in good times, it is undeniable that we cannot afford to continue with business as usual right now. Congress must put America First.
But as our sources warned us, there are Democrats in Washington who want to not only keep sending foreign aid abroad, but to also increase the foreign aid levels in the next emergency bill that Congress plans to pass in the coming days.
You CANNOT allow this to happen!
Congress is already gearing up to pass another emergency spending package, and this one will be bigger than any of the others. They are saying it will approach 1.2 TRILLION in funding.
We are going to be going through this bill, page by page, to call out all of the pork and wasteful spending that Democrats and Republicans slip in. But right now, we need to make sure that this plot to send additional funding overseas is stopped, right here and right now.
