Reality is starting to set-in for Leftists. They are realizing that we are getting closer and closer to the Supreme Court issuing its final ruling on Barack Obama's illegal alien amnesty executive order. Instead of celebrating, the cowards in the GOP are now asking Democrats for an amnesty "compromise."
Here we are, on the eve of one of our greatest victories, and the Republicans want to sell us out!
First, let's rewind for a second. Barack Obama's illegal alien amnesty executive order is, and always has been, both illegal and unconstitutional. Federal law explicitly defines "illegal entry" and prohibits illegal aliens from working inside the United States. The President of the United States does not have the authority to simply hand out 800k work permits to illegal aliens.
But the amnesty was also bad policy. For decades, Republicans and Democrats have strived to reach a "compromise" that legalizes some illegal aliens while also securing the border and fixing the loopholes in our immigration system that illegal aliens abuse to gain entry. Ronald Reagan made this offer and got tricked. He legalized illegal aliens and then Democrats blocked the border security side of the "compromise." George W. Bush made a similar deal by agreeing to scale back immigration enforcement. But when it came time to actually fund the Secure Fence Act of 2006, Nancy Pelosi blocked the funding.
When Barack Obama offered the same bogus "compromise," Conservatives were rightly suspicious. Fool me thrice... Obama and his Gang of Eight tried to push through a similar bill -- amnesty before border security -- and you helped us block the legislation from passing.
That is when Barack Obama showed his true intentions. Unable to trick Conservatives into agreeing to his terms, he signed a series of amnesty executive orders. All together, Obama tried to hand out amnesty to just shy of 5 million illegal aliens. His DACA executive order legalized 800k illegal alien "children" -- spoiler alert: they were in their thirties and fourties -- and Obama's DAPA order offered amnesty to over 3.7 million DACA recipients' parents. All of this was without even pretending to offer Conservatives a "compromise." Obama and his Democrat allies tried to legalize almost 5 million illegal aliens while keeping the border unsecured and the immigration loopholes wide open.
DAPA was almost immediately shot down. Courts agreed that the President had no right to simply legalize 3.7 million illegal aliens. Shortly thereafter, DACA was shot down in the lower courts as well. Courts agreed that the President simply doesn't have the right to rewrite immigration law and extend work permits to people living in the country illegally.
This should be cause for celebration. But the GOP -- the same spineless Republicans who fought so hard to defeat Barack Obama's exec order -- now want to make it permanent.
The Supreme Court is now just days away from issuing its final ruling. They are expected to finally toss out Obama's amnesty executive order. Republicans are getting scared. They never expected to win this fight, and they never really wanted to win. The GOP believes that they need to support amnesty in order to hold onto their political power.
The GOP is now working with Nancy Pelosi on a "compromise" and, no surprise, their "compromise" is the most radical amnesty package ever devised. Here is what it includes.
1. Total amnesty for all illegal aliens who would have been covered under Obama's amnesty executive orders. Well over 5 million illegal aliens at this point.
2. Total amnesty for illegal alien agricultural workers and their entire families. Anyone who claims to have worked on a farm or claims to be related to a farm worker would be protected from deportation.
3. Total amnesty for illegal alien convicted criminals. As long as someone has not been convicted of more than four misdemeanor crimes (not spent more than four years in prison) they would automatically be eligible for amnesty. And a new amendment just filed by Democrats would extend this amnesty to convicted FELONS as well. As long as an illegal alien has not spent more than five years in prison on a felony conviction, they would be protected from deportation.
4. All of these amnesty recipients would also be put on a pathway to receive US citizenship. The Left's goal is to get these illegal aliens voting Democrat as quickly as possible.
The package also includes other ridiculous measures, such as a mechanism to bring previously deported illegal aliens back into the United States and to provide taxpayer-funded health insurance to all illegal aliens. It is chock-full of every single item on the Democrats' amnesty wish list.
This is what the "compromise" looks like.
With your help, we stopped the GOP passing this suicidal bill before. But only because we rallied Conservatives and put maximum pressure on these cowards.
Now, it is time to do it again!
With the Supreme Court's ruling now just days away, the GOP is scrambling to figure out some way to save Obama's amnesty executive order. They want to make it permanent!
It is up to YOU to stop them before it's too late!
