Today, Democrats are holding another impeachment hearing. The latest witness is a man named Alexander Vindman, a Lt. Colonel in the United States Army.
Democrats believe that Vindman is one of their most trustworthy witnesses. He has served for over 20 years and received a Purple Heart when he was injured in Iraq in 2004. Vindman has without a doubt sacrificed for this country.
But Alex Vindman is also an anti-Trump rat. In 2017, Trump administration officials tried to fire Lt. Col. Vindman from his position on the National Security Council because he was suspected of leaking stories to the press designed to damage Donald Trump's young Presidency. But when Trump officials tried to fire him, the White House's Human Resources office intervened. An Obama holdover named Letitia Lewis prevented Vindman from being fired.
During his behind closed doors testimony, Vindman also admitted under oath that he had advised the Ukrainian government to ignore President Trump's policy position. Think about that for a second. Trump asked the Ukrainian government to help the Department of Justice with an ongoing investigation. As the President of the United States, Trump has every right to set this policy. Vindman, however, went behind the President's back and told the Ukrainians to do exactly the opposite. Even during today's testimony, Vindman said that he believes that HE is responsible for creating Ukraine policy, not the President.
And now today, we learned the biggest bombshell. Vindman, during his testimony today, admitted that he spoke to an Intelligence official about Trump's call with the Ukrainian President. But Vindman refused to say who he spoke to because he didn't want to out the whistleblower.
Just so we are clear: This is the man responsible for so many leaks designed to damage the Trump presidency. He has literally admitted under oath to trying to sabotage US foreign policy. He even admits to leaking the substance of the July 25 phone call to the so-called whistleblower -- presumed to be CIA official Eric Ciaramella.
He tried to take down President Trump with the leaks. Tried to sabotage foreign policy by telling foreign officials to ignore the President of the United States. And when none of that worked, he worked with the "whistleblower" to help launch this entire impeachment witch hunt.
This is a coup!
There really is no other way to describe it. This is a coup.
The Deep State tried to take Trump down with leaks. They tried to sabotage his foreign policy. They even created the Russian collusion hoax out of thin air to try to have Trump removed from office.
When none of that worked, they conspired to get Trump impeached because of his Ukraine policy. And now we know that Lt. Col. Vindman was at the center of most of these Deep State efforts.
But when Rep. Nunes began questioning Vindman about who he shared the Ukraine phone call with, Chairman Adam Schiff intervened. He refused to allow Vindman to answer the question. He then coached the witness, on live television, on how to best answer the GOP's questioning. Both Vindman and Schiff claim they don't know who the whistleblower is, but also claim to know precisely which questions to block...
This man literally conspired to hurt Trump and undermine his policy. And when the GOP tried to probe that, the Democrats declared that the questioning was out of bounds. This whole thing is a sham.
Democrats are starting to realize this too. Over the weekend, Rep. Jeff Van Drew (D-NJ) (shown above) admitted that he and other Democrats are starting to get nervous. Impeachment is backfiring and while Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi's seats are safe, 40 Democrats have to run for re-election next year in districts that Trump won back in 2016. Rep. Van Drew represents one of those Trump districts and became the first Democrat to publicly say that he will vote NO if Pelosi brings impeachment articles to the floor.
Pelosi had to whip up the votes just to get enough Democrat support to start these impeachment hearings. But now that the Left's impeachment narrative is imploding, dozens of Democrats are regretting ever signing onto Pelosi's plan.
Democrats are finally starting to come out against this coup. They are seeing the charade for what it really is - an attempt to undo the 2016 election - and they want nothing to do with it.
Now is the time to put pressure on these cowards and kill this witch hunt once and for all!
Democrats are scared. Their impeachment hearings are falling flat. After months of this impeachment nonsense, President Trump has actually risen in the polls. Today, Trump's approval rating in the Rasmussen daily tracking poll is higher than Obama's approval rating was at this point in his Presidency.
I'll say that again. The Left is throwing everything they have against the President and he is still outperforming Barack Obama.
That is why Democrats are terrified. That is why they are starting to beg Nancy Pelosi to shut this down. They are terrified of losing their power.
That is why today, we are doubling down. Our goal today is to send half a million FaxBlasts to Congress DEMANDING that they honor their oaths and get back to working on behalf of the American people.
Our goal today is to strike fear in Congressmen and Senators alike, warning that any Republican or Democrat who participates in this coup will be removed from office.
But we cannot do this alone. We need your help!
