Yesterday, the House Intel Committee released its memo and the contents were absolutely shocking.
It truly is as bad as we thought. Obama administration agents really did use Hillary Clinton's opposition research to launch an investigation against the Trump campaign.
There were a lot of bombshells in this memo. But the biggest bombshell is that disgraced FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe testified under oath that if not for the Clinton campaign's "Trump dossier," the FBI never would have gotten a warrant to spy on the Trump campaign.
The FBI knew that the dossier was false. They knew that it was financed by the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee. They knew that Christopher Steele was rabidly anti-Trump and was willing to do anything to stop Trump from winning.
Yet, they covered up ALL of that and presented the dossier to the secret FISA court in order to get a warrant to put surveillance on one of Trump's aides. They broke the law.
Now, Rep. Paul Gosar is calling for these deep state traitors to be tried for treason.
Rep. Gosar issued a full-throated press release calling James Comey, Andrew McCabe, and their co-conspirators "traitors to the nation" and is demanding that they face Justice.
Here's the problem: the criminal referral will go right to Rod Rosenstein, who is also named in the memo. Rosenstein is the one who approved one of the FISA warrants against Trump advisor Carter Page. He is also the one who recommended to Trump that James Comey be fired. Then, he turned around and appointed Robert Mueller to go after Trump... for firing James Comey!
No, the Deep State cannot be trusted to investigate its own crimes... This is why so many Conservatives in Congress -- like Rep. Gosar -- are pushing for Congressional action.
Just so we are clear: The Obama administration used information purchased by the Clinton campaign to trick a judge in a secret court to allow them to put surveillance on a Trump advisor, in order to try to turn him against President Trump. They knew the "evidence" they were presenting to the court was biased, they knew it was unverified and, in many respects, disproven, but they did it anyway.
The Democrats rigged the primary to help Hillary beat Bernie. Now we know they tried to do the same during the General Election. They dropped the "Access Hollywood" tape to try to destroy Trump on October 7, 2017. Two days later, it was clear their smear wasn't going to work. During the 2nd Presidential Debate on October 9, Trump told Clinton that if he was President, she'd be in jail.
The FBI brought the fake dossier to the FISA court just 12 days later and allowed Peter Strzok to start the Russian investigation. This was their "insurance" policy in case Trump won. That is literally what they called it.
The Deep State crimes are actually worse than we ever thought. All of the top players were implicated. It is time to lock them all up!
Today, Trump went out and called the Deep State's actions a "national disgrace." He is absolutely right. But if he does anything, he'll be accused of obstructing justice. That is what the Left calls anything Trump does other than admit to their conspiracy theories about him.
Trump can't fire them. Rod Rosenstein won't fire them. And Robert Mueller is one of them.
Only you can hold these criminals accountable for their treason!
