The politician who should be removed from office is Nancy Pelosi.
Speaker Nancy Pelosi has literally broken the law in her attempt to undermine President Donald Trump.
Last week, she flew to Madrid, Spain and met with the United Nations in defiance of President Trump. She attended the COP25 Conference as the United States' Representative, which she was not authorized to do, and literally told the world to ignore Trump's withdrawal notice. She promised that the United States would NOT be withdrawing from the UN's Paris Climate Treaty.
When I saw what she was doing, my jaw hit the floor. We have known for months that Democrats have been leading a shadow diplomacy against President Trump. But here, we had Nancy Pelosi was openly undermining the Trump administration's policy.
Simply by showing up to that UN Climate Conference, Nancy Pelosi was violating the Logan Act. This is the law that prohibits unauthorized Americans from engaging in foreign policy on behalf of the United States. This was the law that the Obama administration used to spy on Gen. Michael Flynn. During the Presidential transition, Flynn called his foreign counterparts. The Obama admin. argued that was illegal because he wasn't authorized to conduct foreign policy on behalf of the United States.
There is no difference here. President Trump and Secretary Mike Pompeo ordered the State Department to stand down. No US officials were supposed to attend. Since the United States is withdrawing from the treaty, it makes no sense to send representatives to the Conference.
But Pelosi went anyway. She violated the law and claimed to represent the United States. And then she told the entire world to ignore Trump and negotiate with Congressional Democrats instead...
She must be removed from office!
This is without a doubt sedition. But considering that the whole purpose of the COP25 conference was to figure out a way to force the American to pay for their radical climate treaty, Pelosi's actions were likely treasonous as well.
We have the Speaker of the House actively trying to remove the President and Vice President from office. If that happened, Nancy Pelosi would become President. We know that is what she ultimately wants.
But she can't help herself. She is already acting as if she is President. She is illegally conducting foreign policy and defying the President of the United States.
Yes, she should be prosecuted. But before that, she must be removed from office.
If the vote on Nancy Pelosi's Speakership was held today, she wouldn't win. The Moderate Democrats representing Trump districts hate Pelosi. She promised them that the 116th Congress would do more than simply investigate the President, and she lied to them.
I will say that again: if a vote was held on Nancy Pelosi today, she would not retain her Speakership...
So, it is time to force the vote!
There is no doubt that Nancy Pelosi deserves to be removed from office. The fact that she has dragged the country down this impeachment path is reason enough.
But her actions with the United Nations truly went too far...She broke the law, illegally represented the United States abroad, and actually instructed foreign countries to bypass the President and negotiate with Democrats instead.
This coming week, Pelosi plans to finish her plan. She is advancing a spending bill that not only would restore all of the UN funding that Trump cut, but it would also increase their funding. This is literally treason.
And with Democrats finally starting to turn on Pelosi, now is the time to force her out!
Kick her to the curb!
