This is so disgusting.
Tens of thousands of small businesses went to the SBA website to fill out their application and were turned away yesterday. The President warned that the program was going to run out of money this week. Senate Republicans even introduced a clean funding bill to keep the program going. By clean, I mean that there were not any poison pills or amendments added. It was just a 2 page bill designed to refill the program's funding.
But Democrats objected and blocked the emergency stimulus from passing. They say they want some of their programs to receive funding before they agree to save American small businesses...
It actually gets even worse. 20,000 American small and medium businesses also just received word that even though they applied days ago to receive emergency funding through the Paycheck Protection Program, their applications will not be processed because the SBA ran out of funding.
Hundreds of thousands of workers will now be laid off and added to the unemployment rolls. Tens of thousands of businesses will close, many unlikely to ever re-open. All because Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats said 'no' to the additional funding...
Pelosi did an interview on MSNBC and was asked about her decision to block the clean small business relief bill. This is an exact quote of what Nancy Pelosi said:
"So last week, they came, they asked for a quarter trillion in 48 hours - I said, well, you know, 'I don't think so. Let's see how we can open this up for many more people.' So, Chuck Schumer and I, this all happened on the Senate side and I congratulate the Senate Democrats. They went to the floor when Mitch McConnell went for his 250 and they said they objected."
This despicable woman just congratulated Democrats for forcing American small businesses into bankruptcy...
Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer truly have gone too far this time.
It was bad enough that they blocked the 2.2 Trillion stimulus bill for an entire week so they could demand more foreign aid funding and a bailout for the Kennedy Center (which promptly laid off its musicians after receiving their stimulus bailout).
There is no doubt that Pelosi and Schumer ruined people's lives by blocking the stimulus bill for an extra week. We know that millions of Americans were laid off during the week that these Democrats spent demanding things like the Green New Deal and additional foreign aid funding.
But this is 10x worse. American businesses were just turned away because Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer refused to allow a vote on additional relief funding.
They are literally ruining American lives, all so that they can play politics and force the GOP to "negotiate" over their funding demands.
Pelosi sent Congress home until May 4th. She has absolutely no intention on voting to save America's small-to-medium businesses. She is deliberately holding American lives and livelihoods hostage to try to push her radical agenda items through. Trump is now preparing to adjourn Congress, a power he has under Article 2, Section 3 of the Constitution. No President has ever had to exercise this power because no Speaker of the House has ever been as obstructionistic as Nancy Pelosi.
Enough is enough. The American people have suffered long enough under Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer's "leadership."
These radicals must be removed from office right now and it is up to YOU to demand it!
The Public is turning on Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer. Democrats are turning on Pelosi and Schumer.
Now is the time to strike.
These radicals just ruined countless American lives. They have forced tens of thousands of small and medium businesses, some which have been around for generations, to close their doors. All so Pelosi and Schumer can get funding for their radical programs...
There is no time to waste. Every day that these two traitors are allowed to hold power, more Americans needlessly suffer.
They must be removed from power right now and it is up to you to demand it!
Kick them to the curb!
