For months, we have been warning that Congressional Democrats and Republicans are planning to surrender to the UN and return to Obama-level foreign aid funding levels.
This past week, we reported that Donald Trump had submitted his spending plan to Congress and notified them that he plans to CUT funding from the United Nations and all of the other foreign aid programs that Obama had prioritized.
Before Democrats could even rush to a television camera to complain, it was Republicans who starte bashing the President first... Sen. Lindsey Graham warned the Trump administration that he would 'make their life hell' if they went along with Trump's plan...
And now, they are making good on that threat... Republicans are now siding with Democrats on the most bloated, anti-American foreign aid spending bill ever!
At the beginning of the month, President Trump cut ALL foreign aid to Palestine an the UN agencies that work in Palestine. Last year, Trump had cut most of the foreign aid going to the Palestinian Authority. Now, he has finished the job and cut it all.
The reason for this is simple: the aid is being misused, and actually used against us. While pretending not to have enough funds to take care of their people, the Palestinian leadership was actually caught spending US assistance to reward the families of dead terrorists and procure a brand new private jet for themselves. And the funds that we had given to the United Nations to help the people directly was being misused as well. UN-funded schools were caught teaching children to chant "Death to America" and "Death to Israel."
Trump has now cut it all.
But there is still some aid trickling in. On a case by case basis, the US embassy in Jerusalem is still allowed to provide some humanitarian aid to Palestinian families in need. But the Palestinian Authority is now refusing to accept that aid. Unless all foreign aid is restored, they are refusing to allow their people to receive any US assistance...
The United Nations now says that because of Trump's cuts, this year and last, they will need 1.4 billion in funding. That doesn't even include the hundreds of millions that Trump blocked from going to the UN directly.
Today's FaxBlast campaign is simple, but still vitally important. We need to stop Congress from overruling Trump and restoring the billions that were cut from these Palestinian aid programs. Not only was the funding being completely wasted, but it was actually being used against us...
Trump is finishing what he started. He has now cut aid to all Palestinian organizations and the UN agencies that work in the country.
It is up to YOU to force Congress to make these cuts permanent!
No other President would have done this. No other President would have doubled down and cut ALL funding like this. Trump did.
But the aid cuts are not permanent. If Congress passes a spending package that requires the aid to be disbursed, then Trump's executive action will be overridden.
That is where you come in. You CANNOT allow Republicans and Democrats to roll back Trump's America First foreign aid cuts!
Help Trump finish this once and for all!
