Democrats are vowing to stop Trump's Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh from being confirmed before the fall and GOP cowards are starting to agree with them!

President Trump nominated Judge Brett Kavanaugh to be the country's next Supreme Court Justice. While not my first pick, I spent the night reading through Kavanaugh's previous opinions and I am confident that he will bring conservatism to the highest court, certainly more than Anthony Kennedy did.

For example, Kavanaugh wrote a blistering opinion in Heller 2 that Washington D.C.'s assault weapon ban was unconstitutional, writing that "semi-automatic rifles are also constitutionally protected and that D.C.’s ban on them is unconstitutional." That is a big deal. Not surprisingly, Democrats were out in force after the announcement calling Kavanaugh a radical on gun policy.

But the most hilarious Democrat protests came from the so-called Women's March. They sent out an email that began with, "In response to Donald Trump's nomination of XX to the Supreme Court, the Women's March released the following statement." They were going to oppose anyone that Trump nominated and couldn't even remember to replace the XX on their pre-written email with the name of the actual nominee!

At the Supreme Court, Leftist protesters showed up hours before the announcement to protest in favor of on-demand abortions. Within a minute of Trump's announcement, they were all holding professionally printed "Stop Kavanaugh" signs. They literally showed up with signs for all four of Trump's potential nominees so they would be ready to protest no matter what.

The Left is mounting a full offensive. Not only in the Senate where the confirmation will take place, but apparently in the House as well. Nancy Pelosi came out shortly after Trump's announcement and vowed to "avenge Obama." She's talking about blocking all legislation from being able to move through Congress.

Trump invited vulnerable red-state Democrats to the White House for the announcement last night. These are Democrats who are up for re-election this November in states that Trump won by more than 15% back in 2016. The DNC is pressuring them to vote no on Kavanaugh, even if it means losing their seats.

And then there are the GOP cowards as well. Senators Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) and Susan Collins (R-ME) released statements that they would both have to think over whether or not to vote to confirm Kavanaugh. We are hearing reports that both Senators may demand that Kavanaugh's confirmation be delayed until after the midterm elections. Even Jeff Flake (R-AZ) -- who previously promised to block all of Trump's judicial nominees -- released a statement saying he will need to think it over.

John McCain is at home in Arizona receiving treatment for brain cancer. He hasn't showed up to vote in Congress since late last year. Because of his absence, the GOP cannot afford to lose a single Republican vote. The Left's plan is to pressure Murkowski, Collins, and other GOP moderates to get them to vote no. At the very least, they want to wait until after the November election.

Want to hear something shameful? Mitch McConnell and the GOP just might agree to that delay...

Earlier this week, McConnell sent President Trump a warning that if he nominated Brett Kavanaugh, Congress might not be able to confirm him in time for the Supreme Court's next October session. McConnell warned that because Kavanaugh has authored more than 300 opinions, it would take months for Congress to review them all.

The GOP tried to pressure Trump into nominating someone more moderate. Trump told them to pound sand. President Trump fought back against the moderates. Now it is time for us to join this fight too.

The Left is mobilizing all of their forces to block this confirmation, even going so far as to threaten to shut down the government by blocking spending bills in the House and Senate. We have two RINOs in the Senate who are waffling on whether they will vote to confirm this qualified nominee, even though both Collins and Murkowski voted to confirm Kavanaugh in 2006. Combine that with the GOP leadership's secret threats to Trump and we have a big problem.

Brett Kavanaugh has the endorsement of the Federalist Society, the Heritage Foundation, the National Rifle Association, and even the pro-life Susan B. Anthony's List. Democrats realize that if he makes it onto the Supreme Court, conservatives will have a 6-3 majority for years to come.

So, they are doing everything they can to derail or delay Kavanaugh's confirmation. They realize this is a now-or-never fight.

They know that you will fight with everything you've got to force Congress to confirm Kavanaugh. That is why they are mobilizing all of their forces right now. They are hoping they can force the GOP to surrender before you know what hit you.

Their goal right now is to delay Kavanaugh's confirmation until after the midterms. They're hoping that liberals will vote en-masse to give them the votes to permanently block Trump's nominees. What is even worse is that Mitch McConnell is admitting Congress might need to spend more time vetting Kavanaugh.

Don't let this happen! Seize this moment!
