Last night, radical leftist protesters marched on an ICE detention center in Aurora, Colorado. They lowered the American flag and raised a Mexican flag in its place (shown above). They also raised a defaced American flag that was spray-painted with anti-ICE graffiti.

But the protesters had another aim. They wanted to stop immigration agents from bringing any more illegal aliens into the facility.

That is the Left's ultimate goal. They are demanding that Democrats empty all of the detention centers and stop President Trump from holding any illegal aliens.

Our Border Patrol agents are still being overrun. More than a 100k illegal aliens are caught crossing the border every month. But Democrats in Congress only gave the Trump administration enough funding to keep 50,000 detained at any given time. Since most illegal aliens have to wait over a year to get their court hearings, that means that between 80 and 90 percent of all illegal border crossers end up getting released into our society. The Trump administration has had to focus on detaining the known and suspecting criminals.

I will say it again: Every single illegal alien in long-term detention today is a known or suspected criminal.

And now Democrats are pulling the funding! Tens of thousands of illegal alien criminals would be released into American society!

Yesterday, Pelosi and the Democrats held a vote to cancel Pres. Trump's border emergency. Pelosi brought a Defense Department Appropriations Bill to the floor designed to block Trump from using Pentagon funds to secure the border. Not only would that grind the border wall construction to a halt, but would also remove thousands of soldiers from the border.

The Left is using the appropriations process to shut down Trump's border enforcement. Every bill that has come up for a vote so far includes provisions designed to stop Trump from using the funds to secure the border.

But earlier this week, Pelosi pulled the Homeland Security funding bill from the House schedule. She is refusing to fund ICE's detention centers at all unless the GOP agrees to start releasing these illegal alien criminals.

If Republicans don't agree to release at least 25% of the illegal aliens in detention, then Pelosi would block the funding and force ICE to release almost all of the illegal alien criminals behind bars.

That is what she is threatening by blocking the spending bill from reaching the floor.

And the spineless Republicans are giving in to her demands. They are agreeing to cut ICE's detention funding next year so that thousands more illegal aliens would have to be released into the country, even if they are suspected criminals.

The Left is holding our national security hostage in order to get illegal aliens released and the GOP is just going to give into their demands!

This is the ultimate amnesty push. By blocking this bill, the Left is refusing to let the Trump administration enforce the law. Every illegal alien would be released into the country and when they commit additional crimes, ICE would not be allowed to launch raids to re-apprehend them.

The GOP is caving on this faster than I have ever seen before.
