How can anyone watch the footage of last night's terror attack and not get angry? These were children as young as six years old who were killed by a radical Islamic terrorist while they were leaving a pop concert. They were children...
The bomb was detonated in the atrium of the sporting arena, in between the door and the turnstile. This was a soft target. With the concert wrapping up, there were no metal detectors screening people entering the arena. The reports indicate that the bomb went off just 30 seconds after the concert ended. This terrorist set up a kill zone and detonated his vest as soon as people started rushing for the exit to beat the traffic.
Our hearts break for the victims and their families. In the coming days, we will learn more about the terrorist, his origins, and his motives. But one thing is abundantly clear: this could have easily happened in the United States.
When President Trump took office, he signed an executive order to shut down the refugee flow into the United States from the Middle East and implement extreme vetting on all foreigners trying to enter our country.
The reason for this is obvious. Every Western intelligence agency has confirmed that ISIS terrorists have infiltrated the refugee streams coming out of the Middle East. Terrorists are posing as refugees. Because countries like Syria are war zones, it is impossible to verify the identities of these asylum seekers.
After judge-shopping, the Left found activist liberal judges on the west coast who were willing to legislate from the bench and restore Barack Obama's no-questions asked, open border policy.
Because of these liberal activists, the United States is vulnerable today. Even though the Obama and Trump administrations identified these Middle Eastern countries as legitimate threats, the Democrats are so eager to defeat Trump that they are willing to sacrifice American lives to do it.
This must end!
Two years ago, when Europe was just starting to experience refugee-related terror attacks, Congress took up the Safety Against Foreign Enemies Act. This legislation would have shut down Obama's refugee program and only allowed refugees into the country that were verified to be safe.
The bill passed the House of Representatives with a bi-partisan, veto-proof majority. So many Democrats supported the measure that there would have been enough votes to override a Presidential veto.
However, former-Senator Harry Reid mobilized a filibuster and never allowed a vote to take place in the Senate. He knew that the bill would pass and prove a major embarassment for President Obama, so he killed the effort.
The Democrats deliberately left the United States vulnerable in order to protect Obama from an embarassing veto override.
We are seeing the results of open border policies. Terror attacks in France, Germany, and the UK show what happens when immigration policies prioritize political correctness over national security.
President Trump campaigned on a promise to end Obama's idiotic refugee policies. When he was sworn in, he took action to reverse course and stop refugees from entering the US, no-questions-asked.
But Leftist activist judges decided to intervene. Not only did they block Trump's extreme vetting proposals, but they forced him to reimplement Obama's refugee policies. Unelected judges forced the reimplementation of refugee policies that the American people explicitly voted against.
It was actually argued in court that if Hillary Clinton had implemented the refugee shutdown, it would have been constitutional. But because Donald Trump did it, it was not. That's not a joke. One of the ACLU's own lawyers argued that in court.
Enough is enough...
The Left hates Donald Trump so much that they are willing to leave the American people vulnerable in order to deny the President a victory. They are willing to sacrifice Americans at the altar of political correctness.
Congress has the power to bust through these liberal activist judges right now.
By passing the Safety Against Foreign Enemies Act, Donald Trump's extreme vetting would be codified in law and no longer subject to these asinine court rulings.
We know the votes are there in the House. There are ten Senate Democrats from states that Trump overwhelmingly won. They are terrified of being forced to vote on a common-sense bill like this. Getting eight of those ten to vote for the bill would be enough.
The only thing that is missing is the GOP leadership. They promised to pass this legislation if Trump won and now they have gone completely silent, hoping you forget about their promise. But some in the GOP are starting to wake up. Some are starting to realize what needs to be done.
It is up to you to remind them and DEMAND action!
