Remember back in January when President Trump ordered an attack on a convoy carrying Qasem Soleimani, one of Iran's top generals and the world's biggest sponsor of terrorism? It seems like a lifetime ago, but that happened just after New Year's...
Soleimani had more American blood on his hands than anyone else on earth. He was the man who had explosives smuggled into Iraq so that insurgents could build IEDs to kill American troops. He was actively plotting new attacks against US servicemen and when the US embassy in Baghdad was attacked, the "protesters" spray-painted "Soleimani is our leader" on the walls. Trump gave the order to take him out before he had a chance to plot any more attacks on American soldiers.
Now, the United Nations is launching an investigation into Trump for ordering the assassination. Yes, you read that correctly: the world's worst terrorist was killed and the UN is choosing to investigate us for killing him...
Agnes Callamard (shown above) is the United Nations' Special Rapporteur on Extrajudicial, Summary or Arbitrary Executions. Yesterday, she released her findings that the drone strike on Soleimani's convoy was illegal.
"No evidence has been provided that General Soleimani specifically was planning an imminent attack against US interests, particularly in Iraq, for which immediate action was necessary and would have been justified," Callamard declared. She then proceeds to accuse the United States of violating international law by killing this terrorist.
Once again, the United Nations is using American taxd ollars to fund another anti-American investigation...
Coincidentally, yesterday was also the day that President Trump announced that he was formally withdrawing from the World Health Organization. Since the WHO is part of the UN, this allows Trump to strip upwards of 500 million from the UN's budget this year.
This comes as the WHO announces that there are rising number of cases of the Bubonic Plague in China -- also known as the 'Black Death' -- but there is nothing to worry about because China knows how to contain it...
Trump withdrew from the United Nations' World Health Organization because they proved they are more interested in keeping China happy than protecting the globe. The WHO helped China cover up the initial coronavirus outbreak and we are only just learning now that China never even formally notified the World Health Organization that there ever was a Coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan. But again, the WHO covered that up...
Every cent that goes to the United Nations and its sister organizations ends up being used against us or to prop up our adversaries. Every. Single. Cent.
Whether it is the UN launching an investigation against Trump for killing an Iranian terrorist or the WHO concealing China's Covid-19 coverup, everything that this international organization does is anti-American.
So why are we funding it? Why are we sending the UN billions only to watch them used against us? Rep. Mike Rogers (R-AL) has a solution. It is called the American Sovereignty Restoration Act.
Since the United Nations seems so hell-bent on violating and undermining our sovereignty, Rogers' bill would cut off all American funding to the UN. All of it. The only authorized expenditures would be whatever is needed to withdraw American personnel and equipment from UN facilities.
But wait, there's more. The legislation would also permanently block UN officials from ever giving orders to American military personnel, block UN troops from ever again training on US soil, and end the diplomatic immunity currently enjoyed by UN officials living in our country.
Congress would be free to decide whether to fund individual initiatives on a case by case basis, but the UN would no longer receive a massive blank check from American taxpayers to use however they want. Most importantly, If they wanted to continue attacking and undermining our sovereignty, they would have to find another way to fund it.
This bill is common sense and given the UN's actions, NOW is the time to force it through!
Every week, we learn of new ways that the UN is using our "donations" to try to undermine us. Right now, the United Nations Human Rights Council is actively investigating whether a UN intervention is necessary in the United States to combat racism. Yes, you read that correctly: The UN is debating whether to deploy their Blue Helmets to fight "systemic racism" in the US.
This comes in addition to the investigations the UN is conducting into the Trump administration's treatment of illegal aliens, gun control policies, environmental regulations, and now this latest investigation into Soleimani's killing.
Enough is enough. This has gone on long enough.
President Trump is cutting where he can. As I mentioned, he just cut upwards of 500 million from the UN by defunding and withdrawing from the pro-China WHO.
But only Congress can authorize a full cut, and only YOU can demand it!
