Just yesterday, Joe Biden was asked about his position on liberal court packing - the practice of adding additional Justices to the Supreme Court until the Left achieves a liberal majority - and his response was stunning.
“Well, you’ve been asked by the viewers who are probably Republicans who don’t me continuing to talk about what they’re doing to the court right now."
"Well sir," the reporter replied, "don’t the voters deserve to know—"
"No, they don't," Joe Biden interjected.
That is a direct quote. Joe Biden then proceeded to give a drawn out response of what he thinks reporters should be talking about instead, complaining that Republicans should actually be "meeting to deal with the needs of the people of Arizona."
He was in Nevada at the time. He forgot what state he was in... But Joe Biden's obvious mental decline aside, the threat of court packing is real. Earlier in the week, Joe Biden declared that he would not reveal his position on court packing until after the election.
"You’ll know my opinion on court packing when the election is over," Biden said. Again, that is a direct quote.
Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer have both promised their supporters in private that they will push through a court packing bill if Biden wins and Democrats control both chambers of Congress. Publicly, they have limited their threat to saying that 'everything will be on the table.'
I am confident that Trump can win this election. But Democrats, right now, are preparing for a Biden victory so they can rush through their own court packing bill and shift the Supreme Court leftward for generations to come.
Luckily, we can stop them. Conservatives like Jim Jordan are advancing legislation that would not only force Democrats to publicly go on-record, but also stop them from packing the Supreme Court if they take control of both chambers of Congress. But the GOP cowards are refusing to push it to the floor...
Jim Jordan has now introduced legislation that would force Democrats, once and for all, to go on-the-record and announce publicly whether they support packing the Supreme Court.
"Any attempt to increase the number of Justices of the Supreme Court of the United States or ‘pack the court’ would undermine our democratic institutions and destroy the credibility of our nation’s highest court," the bill reads.
Democrats would be given a choice. Either confirm that they "condemn and oppose any attempt to increase the number of Justices of the Supreme Court of the United States or otherwise ‘pack the court,'" or confirm that that has been their plan all along.
Republicans used to always bring bills like this to the floor around election time to force Democrats to go on-the-record on hot-button issues. They did it in 2016 on issues like refugee resettlement and late-term abortion. But this year, Republicans have gone noticeably silent. The GOP hasn't forced Democrats to take any hard votes this year...
Contrary to what Joe Biden said yesterday, Americans do deserve to know where Democrats stand on the issue of court packing and they deserve to know it before the election.
Even with Nancy Pelosi controlling the House, we can still force a vote by introducing this as a privileged resolution. In the Senate, it is much easier to put a bill on the floor since the GOP controls that chamber.
But we are running out of time to force the vote. It is up to YOU to demand that Jim Jordan's legislation receive a full on-the-record vote in both the House and the Senate before it's too late!
The only reason Biden and Harris won't answer the question is because the answer is that they do support it...
We know that Kamala Harris supports it. Just last year, she was asked to give her position on court packing in order to protect the Leftist agenda from being overturned and she responded, "we have to take this challenge head-on, and everything is on the table to do that." The then said she was "open" to packing the Supreme Court with Leftist Justices.
But so far, Democrats have gotten away with simply refusing to answer the question. They know that 2/3 of Americans oppose their plot to pack the Supreme Court, so they are simply refusing to answer any question about it...
We can put a stop to this once and for all. Not only would Jim Jordan's bill make it harder for Democrats to pack the Supreme Court in the future, it would force every single Congressman and Senator to go on-the-record, once and for all.
But the only way to force the vote is for you to rise up and demand it right now!
