For weeks, the Far Left has been pressuring Nancy Pelosi to force her to appoint a new special committee to investigate President Trump over his handling of the Chinese Coronavirus. The Left's mantra has always been to never let a good crisis go to waste.
Now, it is clear that the Left wants to use the coronavirus as an opportunity to investigate Trump again. They are already hinting that more impeachment articles will be necessary...
But Pelosi didn't just authorize the committee... she assigned 7 Democrats to sit on it!
James Clyburn (D-SC) (shown above next to Pelosi) will head the committee. He is previously on record as saying that the coronavirus is a "tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our image." Now, he will lead the charge in doing just that...
Pelosi also appointed Maxine Waters (D-CA), Carolyn Maloney (D-NY), Nydia Velazquez (D-NY), Jamie Raskin (D-MD), Bill Foster (D-IL), and Andy Kim (D-NJ).
And here is the important part. Not one Republican has been added to the committee. And unlike previous investigations, the GOP was not even initially invited to participate. So not only do Republicans not even know whether they are allowed to participate, but they also are questioning whether it is even worth it to give legitimacy to Pelosi's new witch hunt.
Either way, Nancy Pelosi has instructed the new committee to get started with or without the GOP and begin investigating President Trump as fast as possible. They know they are up against the clock and that if they wanna find more dirt to use to impeach him, they need to find it soon!
This has never happened before. We have never seen the creation of a PARTISAN investigatory committee during an active crisis. The 9/11 Commission, for example, wasn't created until 14 months after the terrorist attack. Congress didn't open up their investigation into Pearl Harbor until after both Japan and Germany had surrendered and World War II was over.
But Pelosi doesn't want to wait. She wants Donald Trump to be investigated immediately.
And just think about this. When Pelosi created the committee, she didn't even notify Republicans that it was happening. The GOP still isn't sure if they are even invited to participate.
But the latest witch hunt is going begin anyway. The first investigatory hearings in Congress are being scheduled for next week. This is insane.
The Left's new impeachment investigation is being led by a man -- James Clyburn -- who admitted he wanted to use the Coronavirus to achieve Leftist political goals and by a woman -- Maxie Waters -- who, from day one, has been trying to remove Donald Trump from office.
Just when you thought the Left couldn't sink any lower...
Chuck Schumer is now demanding that the Senate follow suit and begin investigating the President. The Leftists are threatening to grind the Senate to a halt unless Mitch McConnell agrees to join up with Pelosi's witch hunt.
This is how the Russia investigation began. Democrats complained and complained until they got enough GOP cowards to flip and join them. They are following the same playbook here. Mitt Romney has already started blasting the President and calling for more Congressional oversight. Schumer is pushing forward because he knows he only needs to flip a couple more...
You need to rise up and kill this new witch hunt right now!
Instead of working with the President to keep the American people safe, Pelosi and the Democrats have done everything in their power to make the response more difficult. They deliberately delayed each and every stimulus bill so they could force more of their Leftist agenda items into them.
Now, they are launching Impeachment 3.0. They want an impeachment do-over.
They tried and failed to remove Trump for the bogus allegations of "Russian collusion." They tried and failed to remove Trump for allegedly withholding Ukrainian aid. Now, they want to remove Trump over the coronavirus. A virus, by the way, that when Trump warned about it during his State of the Union Address, Pelosi ripped up the speech and called it nothing but lies.
These people are unfit to serve in any capacity. They have proven that they are unable and unwilling to put country over politics.
They don't care about how many people they harm. They don't care how this will hurt the government's ability to respond and protect the country. They have one goal and one goal only: remove the President from office, by any means necessary.
it has never been more important for Congress to put politics aside and work on behalf of the American people. But instead, Pelosi is launching a new witch hunt...
But the Left isn't doing this. They are ignoring their oath and tripling down on their effort to remove President Trump from office...
