This is it. Tomorrow, the House of Representatives will debate and finally vote on Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler, and Nancy Pelosi's impeachment resolution.
Democrats are starting to get scared. Not only are they losing Democrat votes on the resolution, but Rep. Jeff Van Drew (D-NJ) is actually switching parties over this impeachment nonsense. The vote hasn't even been held yet, and Democrats have already lost their first seat...
And now, the second Democrat has confirmed he will be voting no. Why is Minnesota Rep. Collin Peterson voting against the Democrats? He represents a district that Donald Trump won in 2016 by a whopping 30 points. He knows it would be political suicide to vote to remove the President.
So already, we have one Democrat switching parties to save his political career and another trying to hold onto a seat in a District that is as red as it gets...
Nancy Pelosi promised that she wasn't going to whip up votes. She promised that she would let Democrat vote their consciences and represent their Districts, either way. She lied. Democrats are now threatening their own party members to force them to vote against the President.
Here we are, just a day away from the first official impeachment votes, and the Democrats are nervous because they are cutting it really close in their vote count.
Now is the time to fight back!
President Trump didn't break the law, and even Democrats admit that. That is why they are advancing impeachment articles that allege non-crimes.
Abuse of Power isn't an actual criminal statute. It is an opinion. And the second article -- Obstruction of Congress -- is ludicrous because Trump is actively asking the Judicial Branch to settle the disagreements between Congress and the White House on the Left's subpoenas.
The Executive Branch is a co-equal branch of government. The President has every right to push back against Congressional subpoenas. As the Constitution outlines, it is up to the courts to resolve these disputes. But Democrats refused to wait for those court rulings. They are impeaching Trump now for "obstructing Congress" without allowing the President to make his case before a court...
Realizing that they have made a huge mistake, Democrats are now trying to accuse Trump of even more crimes. This week, the Judiciary Committee released a report accusing Donald Trump, out of nowhere, of committing wire fraud and recommending a 20-year prison sentence if Trump were to be prosecuted after leaving office. These people are sick.
But this fight isn't just taking place in the House. The Senate is also now debating how to handle impeachment articles if the House approves them tomorrow.
Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is now demanding that Republicans hold a "fair" process and allow Democrats to call witnesses against the President. A right, you remember, that was NOT afforded to House Republicans.
Under the Senate Rules, it only takes 51 votes to approve a subpoena for witnesses or to set the rules for the impeachment trial. Democrats would only need to flip FOUR Republicans in order to seize control of the impeachment process in the Senate!
We are already hearing that Mitt Romney (R-UT) and Susan Collins (R-ME) are considering flipping to give the Democrats more power over the trial. If just two more Republicans flip, it is over. They would have the power to set the trial's rules and even make an impeachment vote confidential!
That is why we continue to fight. It is crucially important to put maximum pressure on the House of Representatives and threaten to remove any Congressman who dares vote for this coup. But we also need to continue pressuring the Senate to make sure they don't cave and hand over control of the trial to Schumer and the Democrats!
Today's urgent FaxBlast campaign does both!
We need your help, right now, to bombard both the House and the Senate with a million FaxBlasts ordering them to kill this sham impeachment once and for all!
This is it. The history books are being written right now.
You cannot let the Democrats and GOP cowards win!
Shut it down!
