White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki - the "Circle Back" girl - has now confirmed that Biden will sign gun control executive orders!
Unable to ram his registration and confiscation agenda through Congress, Biden is going to rule by executive fiat and chip away at the 2nd Amendment on his own!
We are starting to hear more and more about how the Biden White House may be preparing to restrict the 2nd Amendment.
The main thing we are hearing is reminiscent of a Kamala Harris proposal during the primary (which shows just how much she is calling the shots at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave). The executive order would change the ATF's definition of a "gun store." Right now, if you are "in the business of selling firearms," then you must register as a gun store or gun dealer. Kamala Harris, when she was running for President, wanted to require anyone who sells 5 or more guns in a year.
Current Federal law requires that gun stores perform background checks on purchasers. However, private sellers are not required to perform background checks. This was a deliberate compromise made in 1994.
Democrats are pushing a bill to abolish that compromise and force all gun sellers to perform background checks. But that legislation is still stalled in Congress. Biden's executive order would bust through that gridlock.
Instead of requiring that private sellers perform background checks, Biden's executive order would reclassify private sellers who sell more than 5 guns per year as gun stores. Leftists aren't happy, though. They want that number to be lower. The most radical gun control advocates want the number set at 1. So, anyone who sells more than one gun per year would have to pay to become a licensed gun store.
Others are advocating the number be set at ZERO, essentially making private firearm sales and transfers illegal under Federal regulations. With one stroke of the pen, Biden could outlaw private sales by ordering the ATF to create a stricter definition of the phrase, "in the business of selling firearms."
The next executive order Biden is considering would make it illegal to build, upgrade, or repair a gun at home. Many gun owners choose to build their own guns for personal use as a hobby and a way to learn the ins-and-outs of their firearms. Biden is considering an executive order that would classify homemade gun builders as unlicensed firearm manufacturers, which is a felony.
Biden's third executive order would restrict what firearms are allowed to be imported into the country. Since 1989, the ATF has been making it harder and harder to import defensive firearms into the country. Over the years, manufacturers have figured out ways to comply with the restrictions. For example, instead of importing completed guns, semi-automatic firearms are imported as "parts kits" and then assembled by American companies.
Biden is looking at using his authority under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) to place burdensome restrictions on American gun manufacturers and importers. The goal is to make it harder (and more expensive) for Americans to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights.
These are just three of the executive orders that Biden is considering. We are hearing that the former-Vice President is considering over a dozen other executive orders. Instead of going through Congress, Biden wants to use his pen and his phone to take away your rights!
The Biden Gun Control Executive Orders are coming. And once that pen hits the paper and the forms are signed, it will be much harder to roll them back.
We need to stop them NOW!
And the only way to stop them is to get loud right now and FORCE Congress to put a stop to this tyranny!
