The GOP is caving! Senate Republicans are voting TODAY on the first part of the Left's plan to restore and increase Planned Parenthood's federal funding!

For years, Republicans have promised to cut off Federal funding to abortion clinics. 

President Trump actually did it this month. He enacted his "Protect Life" rule and cut off the abortion industry's access to 280 million in Title X family planning grants.

It was a major conservative victory. Not only that, but the full 9th Circuit Court of Appeals approved the regulation and allowed it to go into effect. 

Immediately, however, we started hearing that Republicans in Congress were not happy. The GOP loves to promise to defund abortionists like Planned Parenthood, but Trump actually doing it made them uncomfortable.

We warned you that "moderates" like Susan Collins (R-ME) and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) sat on the Appropriations Committee and were not going to let these cuts go into effect.

Unfortunately, we were right. But the surrender goes all the way to the top of the GOP leadership. When McConnell struck a budget deal with Pelosi, he agreed to trade increases in Domestic spending in order to secure funding for the military. We now know that Planned Parenthood funding was part of the Left's demands!

We already know what the Left's plan is. Tucked away in their version of the Health and Human Services Appropriations Act is a one sentence amendment that would undo President Trump's protect life ruling. The Left wants to use the Power of the Purse to require that

"the Secretary shall carry out section 1001 of the PHS Act solely in accordance with any regulations or other conditions or instructions established by the Secretary pursuant to the authority under section 1006 of the PHS Act that applied as of January 18, 2017, to grants and contracts awarded under section 1001 of the PHS Act..."  

This one-sentence amendment, if it passes, would force Pres. Trump to go back to the regulations that were in place on January 18, 2017, two days before his inauguration. In other words, the Left is trying to force Trump to disburse these Title X funds to Planned Parenthood the way that Barack Obama would do it.

But their plan doesn't stop there. It also increases the family planning grant program from 280 all the way up to 400 million. They aren't just trying to restore Planned Parenthood's access to Federal funding... they want to give them even more!

Is the GOP fighting back against this? No. Mitch McConnell just agreed to accept the Left's domestic spending increases as long as they fully funded the military. And of course, Planned Parenthood's funding is part of that domestic spending increase... The Senate is voting on this surrender plan today.

The next step after this budget agreement is for Congress to pass appropriations packages, which will dictate how that funding must be spent. Think of it like this: If your husband or wife gives you money to go to the grocery store, that is like the budget. But when they give you a list of groceries that you have to buy or tell you what you're not allowed to bring home, that is like the appropriations process.

We know that the Left's appropriations bill both restores and increases Planned Parenthood's access to Federal funding and the GOP just agreed to their funding levels. Republicans have already caved to the Democrats' demand to increase the program's funding.

That means that Left is now halfway towards undoing President Trump's Restore Life executive order. If they succeed in slipping this one sentence amendment into the final bill, then it is all over.

You CANNOT let that happen!

You need to push back against Congress -- Republicans and Democrats -- and order them to kill this amendment before it is too late.

Planned Parenthood has already lost this funding. They are refusing to comply with the Protect Life regulation, so they are no longer getting this funding. They have had to dip into their emergency funds just to keep the lights on.

We now know for a Fact that the largest abortion provider in the world needs Federal funds in order to turn a profit. That is why they are spending millions to lobby Congress and that is why Democrats are scrambling to do their bidding.

We can finish this right now, but only if you join the fight right now. The Senate is voting today on the funding increase part of the deal. Next, they'll vote on the amendment to restore Planned Parenthood's funding.

President Trump has already signed the order. It has been added to the Federal register and the 9th Circuit Court has authorized it to go into effect. If we stop this amendment from passing, then we win. It really is that simple.
