Fellow Conservative,
It has finally arrived: the last day of the Obama presidency.
I'm here at the Inauguration, watching the sun rise over the Capitol Dome and it is really starting to sink in.
This is our time.
We have been waiting eight years for this. Everything we have endured has led us to this opportunity.
The fight to "take our country back" has never been closer to success. But that success is not guaranteed.
Yes, Obama tried his best to trash the place on his way out. Obama freed terrorists and traitors, gave even more money to the UN, and signed executive order after executive order to try to preserve his legacy. He tried his best to put up roadblocks to the Conservative agenda. But all those bulwarks will fall.
Today, for the first time in nearly a decade, we get to go on offense and that starts by making sure that the GOP remembers their promises and who they serve!
For years, the GOP establishment has promised to secure the border. It is time to call in that promise.
For years, they have promised to dismantle Obamacare. It is time to call in that promise.
They have promised to expand Second Amendment carry rights, decrease overbearing regulations, cut taxes, build up the military, roll back executive orders, and defund the UN. It is time to call in all of these promises... and more.
We're not just going to have to fight against the Liberals and Leftists. We're also going to need to beat back the same establishment interests that tried desperately to help Hillary win.
That includes Paul Ryan and yes, that includes Mitch McConnell.
Tomorrow begins our full-throated assault to return this country to the principles of conservatism that made this country great and will make it great again. But today, we're sending a shot across the bow of the establishment.
If they think they can get away with breaking their promises and maintaining the status quo, it is up to you and I - all of us - to remind them otherwise!
