VETO the United Nation’s GLOBAL INTERNET CENSORSHIP proposal that would allow the United Nations to GOVERN and CENSOR the Internet INSIDE the United States!!!

TELL CONGRESS you will NEVER accept United Nations control of your Constitutional Rights!  We are a SOVEREIGN nation!!

We are all familiar with the United Nations (UN); ostensibly, a world moderating organization created after World War II to stop conflict and negotiate the issues that affect the world in a non-violent manner.  In reality, it is a body that envisions itself as a world governing organization and believes it has the right to control the lives of everyone on the planet; including YOURS.

A careful look at the history of the UN will show the relentless expansion of its powers.  Whether we are talking about gun rights, the environment, or technology, the UN continually cloaks its intrusion into our lives by using our own lawmakers to sell out our constitutional rights and United States sovereignty!

DEMAND that CONGRESS VETOES the UN’s Global Internet Censorship proposal!!  We are a SOVEREIGN nation and we will NOT allow the UN to trample our Constitutional rights!!

Now, the UN is raising the stakes and we MUST push back!  Congress is currently discussing a proposal that would allow the UN to regulate and CENSOR the Internet, and with it, our First Amendment rights!!  We need YOUR help to stop it!!

You read that correctly, Congress is considering a proposal that would allow the UN to govern, regulate, and censor the internet INSIDE THE UNITED STATES!!!  This is as serious as it gets folks, we MUST not allow this to happen.  Like Pandora’s Box, once the UN has control over the internal flow of information in the United States, it will NEVER give it up.  Our national destiny, once the sole province of citizen voters, will be in the hands of the UN!!

The proposed Global Internet Censorship plan, being backed by Russia, China, and Brazil, would hand over governance and regulatory control of the world’s internet to the UN’s International Telecommunications Union (ITU).  The ITU could take over control of YOUR First Amendment Internet rights as soon as December if we don’t stop them!!!

DEMAND that CONGRESS VETOES the UN’s Global Internet Censorship proposal!!  We are a SOVEREIGN nation and we will NOT allow the UN to trample our Constitutional rights!!

We need your help IMMEDIATELY.  Congress will be holding a hearing on Thursday, May 31, 2012 to discuss these issues. We need you and everyone you know to fax Congress and tell them, in no uncertain terms, that ANY Congressman who supports ANY measure that cedes American sovereignty and freedoms to the UN will be kicked out of office in DISGRACE!!

Of particular importance is H.Res. 628, a bill which would PRESERVE our First Amendment Internet rights and would strip Congress of the power to hand over those rights to the UN!  This bill was introduced by Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX).  Rep. McCaul is a Republican Congressman with a strong conservative record.

We must let Congress know that we will NEVER accept UN control over our constitutionally guaranteed rights!  I plead with you to fax Congress and tell them that this is NOT acceptable.  The United States is a SOVEREIGN nation; we will not give away our rights!

Did you notice the countries that were backing this global internet censorship proposal?  Russia, China, and Brazil; these countries ACTIVELY censor their own citizen’s internet access.  Now they want to censor YOURS!!!  Why do you think Putin, Hu Jinato, and Chavez are pushing this measure?!  Because it will significantly weaken the United States!!

Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) commented on the UN’s proposal earlier this month.  Sen. Rubio stated:

"Any place that bans certain terms from a search should not be a leader in international Internet regulatory frameworks"

Sen. Rubio could not be more correct.  If the United States agrees to the UN proposal, we WILL be handing our First Amendment rights to UN.

As society leans more and more on technology in our day-to-day lives, the internet will continue to grow in importance as more business, government and personal transactions are handled electronically.  Is it strategically wise, from a national security stand point, to allow the UN to have so much control over our nation?  This must be stopped IMMEDIATELY!!
