Over the past year, concerned citizens and alert groups have sounded the alarm that the government is purchasing billions of rounds of ammunition and martial law-type items, while simultaneously working to take away OUR rights to bear arms and protect ourselves against any kind of tyranny that might come our way.
Last week, the House voted to stop the Department of Homeland Security from entering into new contracts for these purchases until they provide information to Congress on the exact cost of this ammunition, and an explanation outlining the need for it … because so far, DHS has not explained anything. That should come as no surprise after all we have learned in the last couple of months about this administration.
A similar measure needs to be passed in the Senate. Senator Jim Inhofe (R-OK) introduced the Ammunition Management for More Obtainability Act (AMMO). This would force the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to report on the hoarding by the Obama administration and place limits on purchases. Fax Congress right now and tell them to pass this Act and other legislation that will stop the corrupt Obama administration from entering the United States into martial law.
Although the House bill passed, it is not exactly finished. It will need to be included as an amendment to the larger DHS bill, approved by the Senate, and signed by Obama.
Having the Senate pass the AMMO Act as well will help make the point that the American people are not helpless in Obama’s quest for Big Brother control. Our involvement will also put pressure on Members of Congress to do the right thing if they want to keep their seats.

Hollow point bullets have been illegal in international warfare since 1899, yet the United States government has purchased millions of rounds of them and has written purchase orders for more.
The DHS has also secured bullet-proof checkpoints, riot gear, large assault vehicles and anti-radiation pills. What do they know that we do not? And is the expected threat coming from within, or from a foreign enemy?
Remember, the DHS released a report warning of radical groups like people who are Christian, pro-life, against big government, and men and women who are returning military veterans. The IRS targeted conservatives and prevented a fair election. The FBI, NSA and other agencies tasked with intelligence gathering have been reading your emails, watching your phone calls and monitoring your travel.
There is no telling what Obama will put these groups in charge of next, or how he will use his power to kill our rights. Whatever happens, we know the federal government will be well-armed and well-protected; American citizens will not.
We are at war with our own government on many fronts, because Obama seems intent on creating a Nazi-like atmosphere in America. Of course, details of his plan have trickled out in the recent past, and more and more people are growing concerned. At this point, one of our last lines of defense is going to need to be our elected representatives in Congress, who can pass laws outlawing Obama’s rogue behavior.
Our Constitution and our Bill of Rights must be defended against all enemies—foreign and domestic. Urge Congress to keep on top of this before we lose all of our freedoms here in the United States!
