I am going to cut right to the point. We are running out of time.
The Senate is poised to vote as soon as this week on whether to confirm Loretta Lynch as the next U.S. Attorney General. We the People cannot allow that to happen!
One of the biggest problems we’ve faced over the last 6 years was the fact that the Department of Justice simply refused to prosecute criminals within the Obama administration.
Whenever the administration was caught breaking the law – as was the case in Fast & Furious, the IRS targeting, when they were caught spying on journalists, etc – Eric Holder’s DOJ simply swept it under the rug. And when Eric Holder was caught breaking the law and lying to Congress, the White House used executive privilege to cover it up.
The point is that the next two years are too important to have another criminal at the top of the Department of Justice!
Now, we’re getting word that as many as 5 Republicans have agreed to confirm Loretta Lynch. That pushes her past the 51-vote threshold! Senators Susan Collins (R-ME), Jeff Flake (R-AZ), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Orrin Hatch (R-UT), and Mark Kirk (R-IL) have all pledged to vote for this radical Attorney General!
Demand that Congress CANCEL Loretta Lynch’s confirmation vote permanently!
Right now, Mitch McConnell is offering a compromise to Democrats. This has been on the table for weeks. If they vote to renew the Hyde Amendment (the ban on taxpayer funded abortions) then the GOP will support Lynch’s nomination.
Is this a joke?
It’s almost as if the Republicans don’t understand their mandate. We put them in power to stop radicals like Loretta Lynch from rising through the ranks, not to enable them. Now, McConnell and the RINOs want to put Loretta Lynch on the fast track.
Lynch was caught covering up a pretty significant money laundering case. She gave the bank HSBC a slap on the wrist when it was caught laundering money for terror groups and drug cartels.
Lynch supports Barack Obama’s illegal alien amnesty and believes that the President has the authority to circumvent Congress with executive orders to go around Congressional gridlock. That is from her own testimony before the Senate and that alone should disqualify her.
Lynch is also a vocal proponent of civil asset forfeiture, a controversial program that allows police and prosecutors to seize your assets without even charging you with a crime.
And to top it all off, Lynch supports every piece of Barack Obama’s gun control agenda!
The American people don’t need another rubber stamp for Barack Obama’s unconstitutional actions. We need an Attorney General who will stand up for the Constitution, not just stand by and watch as it is shredded.
Over the next two years, the Attorney General will have tremendous power. For example, the AG could ultimately be the one who decides whether popular AR-15 ammunition is kept legal or banned. The Attorney General will decide which laws are defended and which aren’t before the Supreme Court.
We are talking about the chief law enforcement officer in the entire country.
Shouldn’t we make sure that the Attorney General position is filled by someone who actually believes in the rule of law, not someone who will use every opportunity to circumvent it?
Now, the White House is throwing a fit over the fact that Loretta Lynch might get blocked in the Senate. I say, GOOD! But the fact that she "may" get blocked doesn't matter to me. We need to make sure that the Senate stops this radical from being confirmed and that starts with you demanding it and letting your voice be heard.
The Democrats have enough votes. Five spineless Republican Senators have pledged their support. It is up to YOU to make sure that this vote is never brought to the Senate floor!
