NSA DOES WHAT IT DOES BEST:  SPY ON INNOCENT AMERICANS!

Dear Patriotic Friend,

The ongoing saga of Whistleblower Edward Snowden continues!  With conflicting reports, the former NSA contractor may be seeking temporary asylum in Russia, so he can use their air space to get to a permanent country of asylum, like Venezuela, Nicaragua or Bolivia.  He remains holed up at the Moscow Airport hotel at the transit terminal.

He supposedly holds his “key” to asylum transportation (trying to avoid U.S. or U.S. friendly airspace to evade capture).  This “key” is the owner’s manual of the NSA.  He has the sensitive information that can show how the NSA does what it does best: SPY ON INNOCENT AMERICANS!  Your fax can help stop this invasion of YOUR privacy.

PLEASE FAX CONGRESS NOW!

Now-famous Guardian columnist Glenn Greenwald has again been in contact with Snowden.  Greenwald reported: “The former NSA contractor has highly sensitive documents showing the inner workings of the National Security Agency that could harm the U.S. government if they were to be made public.  This information would allow somebody who read them to know exactly how the NSA does what it does, which would in turn allow them to evade that surveillance or replicate it.”

“Literally thousands of documents” taken by Snowden constitute “basically the instruction manual for how the NSA is built.  I think it would be harmful to the U.S. government, as they perceive their own interests, if the details of those programs were revealed.”  He has said that the documents that Snowden has are encrypted to help ensure their safekeeping.

What the United States’ government is guilty of is far worse than anything Mr. Snowden did, regardless of his intentions.  There has NEVER been a more obvious and perilous violation of our U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights, or a more far-reaching abuse of power by the American government in history.  Why don’t we have agents combing the NSA and our government for this onslaught against the privacy of every American citizen?

Edward Snowden is NOT the real story here.  The real issue is what he exposed:  there has never been a more massive and intrusive spying on its own citizens by a government in history; as the United States is still doing right now to you!

It has yet to be revealed about more privacy invasions by our federal government; and how our private information is being used for other sinister purposes!  We’ve already uncovered the suppression of political opposition to the current administration.  This equals tyranny.  The foundation for a police state has been laid.  Thank God someone is exposing it!  We must do whatever we can to stop this reproach to us, treating Americans like terrorists. Tell Congress to pass emergency legislation to stop this intrusion! Fax them today!

FAX CONGRESS NOW

Fox News reports: “On Friday, Snowden, 30, emerged after weeks of hiding in a Moscow airport and said he was willing to meet President Vladimir Putin’s condition that he stop leaking U.S. secrets if it means Russia would grant him asylum until he can move on to somewhere in Latin America.  Greenwald said the United States has shown it is ‘willing to take even the most extreme steps if they think doing so is necessary to neutralize a national security threat.’”

Something in Congress is being done, even on a non-partisan basis.  But for one month, legislation this important has been stuck in the House Judicial Committee.

The LIBERT-E Act has been introduced in the House.  It stands for “Limiting Internet and Blanket Electronic Review of Telecommunications and Email Act.”

H.R. 2399 synopsis reads:  “To prevent the mass collection of records of innocent Americans under section 501 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978, as amended by section 215 of the USA PATRIOT Act, and to provide for greater accountability and transparency in the implementation of the USA PATRIOT Act and the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978.”

This act must be passed…NOW!

It has bipartisan support.  As far as current Co-Sponsors, there are 22 Republicans and 19 Democrats.  That, alone, should tell you how important this legislation is.  It is not a Republican bill; it is not a Democrat bill---it is a patriotic, American bill!

The bottom line is to prevent the WHOLESALE MASSIVE SPYING on U.S. citizens.  Plain and simple.

Totally ignoring our precious United States Constitution, the NSA is collecting and storing enormous amounts of information on every American! In short, YOU, my Friend, are being treated like a common criminal and a full-blown terrorist!  This must stop!

FAX CONGRESS TODAY!

Sincerely,

Tony Adkins
