Obama’s propaganda campaign against our Second Amendment rights continues. Shamefully, he is politicizing the murder of twenty schoolchildren and trying to convince Americans, and Congress, that strict gun control laws would have stopped the Sandy Hook shootings. The truth is, they wouldn’t have.
On Tuesday, Obama surrounded himself with children and announced around nineteen different regulations on guns that he wants, threatening to use executive action to achieve his goal if Congress does not act. This is in addition to the many pieces of gun control legislation that have already been introduced, or hinted at, by House and Senate Members.
The Second Amendment has never been safe under this President, but now it is in a crisis situation, and in fact, our entire Constitution is at risk of being re-written if we the people do not demand that the law stands as written, right now.

If Obama and the Democrats have their way, you will no longer be able to purchase ammunition online, because sales will require a face-to-face transaction. He will reinstate the assault weapons ban, require universal background checks and limit the number of bullets a clip can hold. And that is only the beginning.
Obama and Eric Holder have been working diligently since they took office to limit our right to bear arms. The entire Fast and Furious operation was meant to produce “evidence” that gun sales need to be regulated, and the administration has openly supported the United Nations in their work to finalize a Small Arms Treaty. As heartbreaking as the Sandy Hook school shootings were for everyone, Obama and those around him used the tragedy to push the further destruction of the 2nd Amendment and seeking to disarm law-abiding citizens.
And remember; once the government takes away guns from us, criminals will be the only ones who are armed. And that includes, of course, the government.
Just last week, Obama signed a new bill that allows him armed Secret Service protection for life, and it gives his children protection through age sixteen. Already, Obama’s two daughters go to a school that is protected by at least eleven armed guards—this must give him peace of mind, but he has made it clear that our children do not deserve that kind of security.
In an interview with ABC’s Nightline, Obama proudly proclaimed that one of the benefits of re-election was the ability to have “men with guns around at all times.”
This is a benefit that Obama feels he is most worthy of, as he actively works to take that right away from you and I.

America is headed for tyranny. The writer Stanislav Mishin wrote a column that appeared on the Pravda website warning the United States what is ahead if we allow government to take away our right to bear arms. Mishin writes,
“One of the first things [the Reds] did was to disarm the population. From that point, mass repression, mass arrests, mass deportations, mass murder, mass starvation were all a safe game for the powers that were.
Governments will use the excuse of trying to protect the people from maniacs and crime, but in reality, it is the bureaucrats protecting their power and position. In all cases where guns are banned, gun crime continues and often increases.
Do not be fooled by a belief that progressives and leftists hate guns. Oh, no, they do not. What they hate is guns in the hands of those who are not marching in lock step with their ideology.”
The State of the Union address is coming up, and Democrats are being urged to find victims of gun violence to trot out as guests. What all Members of Congress should be doing is bringing in American heroes who have saved themselves, their property, and the lives of friends and family members by having a gun around and turning it on the criminal who would have otherwise harmed them.
We need overwhelming support right now in Washington for our Constitution and our Second Amendment. The same government busy restricting your rights is working to ensure you have no means of defending yourself from those attacks on your rights, your family, or your home.
Once they disarm us, it’s over. Stand up for freedom. Demand that Congress honor the rights we are guaranteed under our Constitution. Your voice is needed, now.
