The FBI has announced that of the 1000s of suspected ISIS terrorists here in the United States, 48 are so high risk that the Bureau is using everything at its disposal to track them.
With the risk so high, how can Obama honestly want to bring more potential terrorists here?
But that is exactly what he is doing. While the rest of us were celebrating Thanksgiving with friends and family, Barack Obama was hard at work laying out his plan to inundate the United States with Syrian refugees.
He informed the GOP governors that if they try to block his plan, he would use the entire weight of the Justice Department to go after them.
All the while, the President criticized us for opposing his plan and compared the Syrian refugees to the pilgrims on the Mayflower. Well, last time I checked pilgrims on the weren’t blowing up airliners and shooting up concert halls…
We here at Conservative Daily do not oppose the concept of accepting refugees. But if we are going to bring people into this country and offer them a better life, we need to make sure that they are absolutely not going to attack us.
That is how it has always been. If someone tried to come here, we would make sure that they weren’t terrorists. We wouldn’t stop until we were 100% sure they were good people.
Now, Obama wants to lower the bar and bring tens of thousands of Syrians here without even running full background checks!
In fact, the House of Representatives passed the American SAFE Act, a bill to require THREE passed background checks before anyone from Syria can enter the country, and Obama has promised to veto it. He claims it is racist to fully vet these refugees to make sure they aren’t terrorists.
He would rather a mushroom cloud over an American city than to subject Syrian refugees to a slightly more rigorous screening process. How else can you explain his refusal to perform additional background checks on these refugees? You cant…
We have nothing against legal and safe immigration. But what Obama is proposing will put us at risk. It is dangerous and stupid and it must be stopped!
The American SAFE Act is our best shot at making sure that the Syrian refugees who come here don’t try to kill us. What is wrong with making sure that the people we welcome in with open arms aren't going to stab us in the back when they get here?
The bill has already passed the House. Right now, Democrats are trying to hold it hostage and demand that the House of Representatives also passes new extreme gun control measures.
You CANNOT allow this to happen!
