Barack Obama has requested $1.1 Billion dollars next year to push his gun control agenda.

That’s right, as Congress pored over the President’s budget looking for places to compromise, it has become known that Obama wants over a billion dollars to push more gun control down your throats!

Now, a billion dollars is a lot of money, and there are undoubtedly some good programs hidden away in the budget. The portion earmarked for enhanced school security is definitely necessary and long overdue. However, the money is also going towards Obama’s push for so-called “assault weapons” and “high capacity magazine” bans in addition to universal background checks!

This portion of the budget is non-negotiable! The American people reject Obama’s anti-second amendment agenda and must refuse to pay even a cent into his tyrannical programs!

Tell Congress not to spend ANY of your tax dollars on Obama’s gun control agenda!

Of the $1.1 Billion earmarked towards new gun control measures, over $100 million of it is earmarked towards enacting Obama’s “Now is the Time” initiative. If this sounds familiar, it should because it contains every gun control measure that the gun grabbers have wanted for so long.

On the White House budget webpage, the “Now is the Time” portion has been whitewashed to hide the President’s rabid gun control agenda. Using vague phrases like “keep guns out of the hands of dangerous criminals” and “prevent and respond to active shooters and prevent mass casualties,” Obama is trying to appeal to the masses.

And it works. Who doesn’t want to stop mass shootings and prevent criminals from accessing guns? The problem is that Obama doesn’t exactly tell visitors HOW he plans to accomplish that.

Well, the methodology is simple: in Obama’s America, everyone is a potential criminal, so in order to stop crime, everyone should be disarmed!

That is why the foundation of Obama’s “Now is the Time” gun control plan is the push for background checks (aka a universal gun registry) and a ban on semi-automatic rifles and standard capacity magazines.

Barack Obama wants $180 million of his gun control budget to go towards figuring out ways to ban so-called “assault weapons” and limit magazine capacity. This is YOUR money that Obama wants to use to circumvent congress so he can disarm the American people. Obama is trying to take the money right out of your wallet and use it to violate your constitutional rights!

It goes even farther than that… The Department of Justice has also requested $382 million for gun control initiatives and $2 million will be earmarked towards so-called “smart gun” technology. This initiative would test the viability of putting a computer chip in every gun, allowing it to be turned on and off remotely! The government won’t have to take your gun away if they can just turn the guns off! This is one of those “fundamental changes” that Barack Obama promised.

This budget is absolutely insulting! Americans work hard for their money and overwhelmingly reject the President’s gun control initiatives. Yet, Obama wants to take more money in taxes to fund these unconstitutional programs!

Congress controls the purse. They get to pick and choose what makes it into the budget and what gets left on the cutting room floor. Congress must NOT be allowed to finance the President’s gun control initiatives! Obama may have promised to go around Congress to enact gun control, but without the finances he won’t be able to accomplish anything!

Tell Congress not to spend ANY of your tax dollars on Obama’s gun control agenda!
