Obama has done it. He just approved bringing more than 10,000 more Syrian refugees to the United States. Now, his liberal allies are calling on him to let even more refugees in.
The United States is a generous country. Every year, we admit 250,000 -- a quarter of a million -- Muslim migrants. That’s a tremendous number.
A little more than a year ago, Barack Obama made an executive decision and lifted the ban on terrorist supporters coming to the United States. You didn’t know that, did you?
The Immigration and Nationality Act prohibits immigrants with ties to terrorism from coming to the United States. Apparently, the Obama administration didn’t think that was “fair.” No, that’s not a joke. He thinks letting terrorist supporters into the United States is only fair.
In the just the last 24-hours, a man was arrested in New York City for trying to provide “material support” to ISIS. By all means, throw him in jail.
But here’s what’s ridiculous: Thanks to Obama’s executive order, the immigration restrictions written into the law now “shall not apply with respect to an alien who provided limited material support” to terrorist organizations. That means that a Syrian refugee could be a known terrorism supporter and Obama would let him or her into the U.S. anyway.
This is madness!
Have you seen what is happening in Europe? Countries can’t build their border fences fast enough to stop the crowds from rolling through their country.
It’s hard to believe that these are harmless “refugees” when they have been caught on video tape pelting police and passers-by with rocks, shouting “Allahu Akbar” (“God is great,” in Arabic). An Islamist was just killed in Germany after he tried to stab a police officer to death.
I don’t have a problem with helping bonafide refugees. The United States has always helped people fleeing violence and oppression. But we need to make sure that ISIS sympathizers, and even ISIS fighters themselves, aren’t blending into the crowd.
Lest we forget that the Boston Marathon bombers came to this country as refugees…
Barack Obama’s executive order makes it impossible to stop this. The administration wants to reassure us that immigrants will undergo background checks, the same type of background check you undergo when buying a firearm.
Is this a joke? Does this inept administration really want us to believe that they know the names of every ISIS fighter/supporter?
And even if that background check does uncover that the individual supported terrorism, Obama’s executive order says that’s not a problem. They can come in anyway.
I’m telling you, I am getting sick and tired of watching this President destroy our country.
It’s time to take a stand. It’s time to STOP Obama from laying out the welcome mat to radical Islamic extremists!
