Fellow Conservative,
Yesterday, Hillary Clinton held a press conference at the United Nations to respond to allegations she broke the law by using a private email address to conduct official State Department business.
As usual, Mrs. Clinton continued lying and only dug herself in deeper.
Here’s the short of it: Hillary Clinton just admitted to deleting half of the emails she sent and received while Secretary of State and has refused to turn over her email server.
“The server contains personal communications between my husband and me,” she declared. “I believe I have met all of my responsibilities, and the server will remain private.”
This is where the lies begin. The server doesn’t contain emails she sent to Bill Clinton. That’s because Bill Clinton’s staff has admitted that the former-President has only sent two emails in his life – and both while he was in office.
So no, Mrs. Clinton’s email server doesn’t have correspondence shared with her husband. That was a complete lie, and just one of many.
Next, Hillary tried to claim that she used a private email account because she didn’t want to have to carry two devices on her at once.
“Looking back, it would have better if I had simply used a second email account and carried a second phone, but at the time this didn’t seem like an issue,” she said.
First of all, you can have more than one email address operate on a single phone. Does Mrs. Clinton think we are that dumb?
Second of all, she’s lying through her teeth once again. Last month, Hillary admitted during an interview that she carried a Blackberry and an iPhone while Secretary of State.
Just like her husband, she is trying to talk her way out of this scandal. And it isn’t working.
Listen, as big as the Hillary story is, this is just the tip of the iceberg. The entire Obama administration is starting to unravel as we discover that more and more bureaucrats skirted the law by using private emails on privately owned email servers in order to hide their actions.
Attorney General Eric Holder used THREE different email aliases to conduct official business. Even now, released documents still have Holder’s email address redacted. Why on earth would he need three? The only logical reason to is to segregate the emails to make them easier to hide.
And sure enough, that is exactly what happened. You might remember that when Barack Obama used Executive Privilege to cover-up Eric Holder’s involvement in Operation Fast & Furious, he also “classified” private communications between Holder and his wife and mother.
Neither his wife nor his mother possessed a security clearance. Yet somehow, classified materials were shared between the Attorney General and the women in his life.
None of this passes the smell test.
The law is set up to require government officials to turn over emails and have the government determine which are public and which are private.
As we’ve seen with Hillary and Holder, these corrupt bureaucrats skirted the law to ensure that they had the power to pick and choose which emails are archived.
The fact of the matter is that both of these individuals were the subjects of Congressional investigations and both used private email servers to thwart Congressional investigators.
Hillary claims that she never shared any classified information over email. Really? Maybe not a classified document, but are we really supposed to believe that the Secretary of State never emailed the President about something classified? Of course she did.
The whole thing just thinks. Hillary Clinton thinks she can hold a press conference at the United Nations and make this all go away. She’s wrong.
There’s only one way to get to the bottom of this and that is for Congress to subpoena and have law enforcement seize Hillary Clinton’s email servers and hard drives. And the only way that can happen is if you demand it.
Sincerely,
Joe Otto
