Over the last few months, Conservative-Daily has been keeping you up to date on the evolving Obamacare story. We have shown you why it should be considered unconstitutional, why it is a danger to our country and our rights, and how it will affect the American economy. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) ostensibly was created to provide low cost health care to everyone in the country; that being said, there is quite a bit of evidence demonstrating that the legislation is nothing more than an unconstitutional power grab by President Obama. Regardless of the President’s intentions, Obamacare is an absolute policy DISASTER especially for the senior citizens in this country!

Why should senior citizens be concerned? Obamacare is set to erode patient care and doctor availability for seniors. Further, the law will defund and cap spending growth on Medicare. Finally, Obamacare will RATION health care to seniors; setting up “death panels” that will decide who gets care and who doesn’t.Liberals claim that Obamacare will broaden healthcare options for every American in the country. That is a bold faced lie! Seniors in this country WILL be the one of the parties sacrificing their health care for President Obama’s socialized medicine train wreck. Doctor availability and eroding patient care are already a concern the seniors in this country. Obamacare will only exacerbate the problem.
Based on the current language in the legislation, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) estimate that nearly 15% of Medicare Part A providers will become unprofitable and drop out of Medicare. This will limit access to health care providers for many senior citizens in this country especially in rural areas. Obama wants to make healthcare access to be easier for the non-working recipient class requiring senior citizens to flip the bill by sacrificing patient care and doctor availability so that Obama might buy a few more votes during an election year. Not only will seniors lose access to their doctors, but they will also be the ones paying for this legislation. Obamacare will slash an ASTONISHING $575 BILLION from Medicare. Seniors have been paying taxes their whole lives; they have ALREADY paid for their healthcare! Now President Obama wants them to pay again by slashing their benefits and giving that money to a group of unproductive people who are happy just to have the government provide for them so that they don’t have to work! Obama’s lack of respect for our seniors is DEEPLY DISTURBING!Not only will Obamacare cut Medicare by over half a TRILLION dollars, but it will also cap Medicare spending in the future. With healthcare availability already a concern for many senior citizens, what will happen in a few years when Medicare is capped and yet the senior population continues to increase? How long until we see Soviet style bread lines as our seniors wait for medical care? We have to stop this NOW!!! But a bread line for medical care is only the tip of the iceberg; it gets MUCH worse.

I hope you are sitting down, because this will be very disturbing for both seniors and their family members. Obamacare WILL ration healthcare for senior citizens. This means if Obama thinks that you are a bit too old or out of shape for certain healthcare procedures, he will deem you unworthy and will simply leave you to die. How will he accomplish this vile healthcare rationingObamacare creates the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB), which will be tasked with making the billions of dollars of cuts to Medicare. Sarah Palin has called the IPAB a “death panel”. This is based on the fact that this panel will decide who gets healthcare and who gets left out in the cold. Obamacare was supposed to bring affordable healthcare to EVERYONE not just the recipient class who steal from taxpayers’ everyday. Do you think a 30-year-old crack addict should get more care than a 68-year-old grandmother who has paid taxes and has been a law abiding citizen her entire life? That’s the kind of outcome you are going to get with the IPAB and Obama’s brand of socialized medicine central planning. WE MUST REPEAL OBAMACARE NOW!!
Former President of the American Medical Association, Donald Palmisano, made the following chilling statement when discussing the healthcare law “IPAB may eventually be allowed to resort to Great Britain’s chosen rationing methods and refuse to provide certain effective treatments to patients who need them based on costs and patients’ remaining ‘quality adjusted life years.’ Though the law currently forbids IPAB from engaging in such behavior, there is little reason to believe these rules won’t be changed — or at least stretched — down the road as costs continue to balloon and political dynamics change”. This is TRULY a frightening scenario!
