Over the last few months, Conservative-Daily has been keeping you up to date on the ever evolving Obamacare story. Our first series of articles dealt with the many Constitutional questions surrounding the healthcare legislation as well as the dangers it poses to our country, culture, and democracy. In this second series of articles we are discussing how Obamacare will personally affect you and your family. In this article we will be focusing on the legislation’s impact on your healthcare vis-a-vie the predicted shortfall of medical doctors in the United States. To be certain, your health IS at risk.The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) was ostensibly created to provide low cost health care to everyone in the country. However, there is quite a bit of evidence demonstrating that the legislation is nothing more than an unconstitutional power grab by President Obama. Regardless of the President’s intentions, Obamacare is an absolute policy DISASTER and will lead to Soviet-esque "bread lines" for those seeking medical attention in the United States.

Imagine that your child is sick and needs to see a doctor. Perhaps it is only a broken arm or strep throat; nothing life threatening, but immediate medical attention is required. First you attempt to get a doctor’s appointment, but your pediatrician is booked solid for a month. You contact a general practitioner; same result. Finally you are forced to take your child to an Urgent Care center or the Emergency Room at the local hospital. You find yourself in crowded room with dozens of people pleading for medical assistance. You sit, watching your child in pain, waiting for nearly 18 hours before your child receives an initial consultation from a nurse. Sound far-fetched? Unfortunately, this WILL be the future of medical care in the United States so long as Obamacare is on the books.The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) predicts that by 2015 the US will have 62,900 fewer doctors than needed; and that number will more than double by 2025! This information wasn’t published by some fringe conservative group simply trying to destroy the healthcare law; no, it was published by President Obama’s personal public relations newspaper, the New York Times!

Evidently, President Obama and Congressional Democrats didn’t bother to investigate the consequences of the legislation they decided to enact on a strict party line vote (not a single Republican voted for Obamacare). They were so greedy for the unconstitutional powers contained in Obamacare they decided to throw caution to the wind and citizens to the lions.In fact, current House Minority Leader and former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi didn’t even know what was in the legislation before passage. She was actually quoted as saying “we have to pass the bill so you can find out what is in it”. She pushed a MULTI-TRILLION DOLLAR piece of legislation through Congress and she doesn’t even know what is in it?!? Clearly, Obamacare is all about seizing more power and has very little to do with healthcare.

I hope you are sitting down because it gets WORSE. According to one survey conducted by the Doctor Patient Medical Association, 83% of our nation’s doctors are considering quitting medicine altogether due to the provisions contained in the Obamacare legislation. Unbelievable!!What good is “universal” (read: Socialist) healthcare if there aren’t doctors to administer it?! According to the AAMC it takes ten years to educate and train new doctors. So the Obama Administration and Congressional Democrats designed a Socialized medicine plan that will create doctor shortages and the aforementioned Soviet-esque "bread lines" for medical care; how unbelievably STUPID!!

This right is ensured by free, qualified medical care provided by state health institutions; by extension of the network of therapeutic and health-building institutions; by the development and improvement of safety and hygiene in industry; by carrying out broad prophylactic measures; by measures to improve the environment; by special care for the health of the rising generation, including prohibition of child labour, excluding the work done by children as part of the school curriculum; and by developing research to prevent and reduce the incidence of disease and ensure citizens a long and active life.
Sounds familiar, right? It can happen here and it IS happening here. Time is short; we need your voice demanding Congress repeal this apostasy. Even if you believe in Socialized medicine, you MUST see the folly in enacting such legislation that will CREATE and foster doctor shortages. Had the mindless liberals who wrote the Obamacare legislation done their homework, they would have seen the pitfalls; but the fact of the matter is they don’t care about you or your family. They weren’t worried about your healthcare; they were worried about their own egos and how much power they could steal from the American people. It is high time we put them in their place. Join with us today and let’s send Congress a tidal wave of faxes they can’t possibly ignore!!
