It is coming down to the wire for Biden's radical ATF Nominee, David Chipman.
As we have covered, Chipman is an anti-gun activist and gun control lobbyist. Biden has nominated him to run the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives. Never before has a President sought to install a gun control lobbyist at the top of the Federal Government's gun control policy branch.
We must stop David Chipman's nomination, by any means necessary!
Today, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell called on Biden to withdraw Chipman's nomination. McConnell pointed to new allegations against Chipman that while he was stationed in the ATF's Detroit Office, Chipman made derogatory comments against black colleagues.
Specifically, Chipman told other agents that he was shocked so many African-American ATF agents had qualified for a promotion. He insinuated that they must have cheated on their tests to qualify... Pretty despicable.
So, not only is David Chipman rabidly anti-gun, but he's also apparently a racist anti-gunner!
Last week, Sen. Dick Durbin admitted that the votes aren't there for Chipman yet and that "there are a lot of issues" with Chipman's nomination.
Still, Democrats are "hopeful" that they can secure the votes to install this gun control lobbyist at the top of the ATF. Make no mistake: If Chipman is confirmed, he will impose new gun control onto the country. Chipman has promised, under oath, that he would use his authority to "ban assault weapons." But when asked to define "assault weapon," he refused to answer the question. That is because Chipman's definition of "assault weapon" includes millions of the most popular handguns, shotguns, and rifles.
We must kill his nomination at all costs.
Chipman is now one vote away from being confirmed and being given the power to restrict and attack all of our 2nd Amendment rights!
