The Obama campaign, aided by the Democratic Party, are suing to restrict the voting rights of military members during this important presidential election.

Continuing with his administration’s tradition of suing U.S. states, on July 17th, the Obama for America Campaign, the Democratic National Committee and the Ohio Democratic Party filed suit in Ohio to strike down part of that state’s law governing voting by members of the military.

Right now citizens in Ohio can vote early, in-person, up until the Friday before the presidential election. Military members are given three extra days to do so, the reason being, their service may interfere with finding free time to go vote.

But, Democrats say that is unfair and want to make it more difficult for members of our military to cast their vote proving that they care about power not our nation!

They will do anything to keep Obama in the White House. This is their strategy for victory in November.

Fax Congress and tell them to protect the military vote!

The purpose of the three extra days given to military members is to take into account the demands on their time and hardships they may encounter while serving our country. However, the Democrats call these extra days “unconstitutional” and "arbitrary" with "no discernible rational basis."

Democrats have fought ardently against voter I.D. laws, and they seem to have no problem allowing dead people and cartoon characters to cast a ballot—apparently they draw the line when it comes to our men and women in uniform.

The National Defense Committee reports that [f]or each of the last three years, the Department of Defense’s Federal Voting Assistance Program has reported to the President and Congress that the number one reason for military voter disenfranchisement is inadequate time to successfully vote.

And, as reported in The Washington Post:

By most accounts, the 2008 presidential election was a disaster for military voters. Thousands of them were disenfranchised when their absentee ballots were sent to wrong addresses, lost in the mail or mailed too close to the election for the ballot to be returned. To make matters worse, thousands of ballots were rejected by local election officials because the ballot - through no fault of the military voter - arrived after the election deadline.

Fax Congress and tell them to protect the military vote!

Perhaps Obama is worried because a May Gallup poll showed that 58 percent of veterans prefer Mitt Romney, compared to 34 percent who support Barack Obama. Also, a Military Times poll found that 44.3 percent of service members do not approve of Obama's job performance.

Ohio is just the beginning; you can be sure Obama’s campaign will take their fight to any state they feel threatens their re-election chances, and they will do whatever it takes to take the focus off Obama’s failed presidency.

Fifteen military groups have now fighting back against Obama’s actions. A group including AMVETS, the National Guard Association of the United States, and the Association of the U.S. Army have asked a judge to dismiss Obama’s lawsuit.

They said, "Efforts to facilitate and maximize military voting should be welcomed, not viewed with constitutional suspicion."

This latest desperate act by the Obama campaign must not go unnoticed. You can be sure the mainstream media will overlook Obama’s lawsuit against Ohio; but we here at Conservative-Daily.com will not!

Every vote is important to Obama—as long as it’s cast for him.

Americans will not stand for voter bullying, or sneaky, thug-like tactics when it comes to our elections. Obama’s team feels they can quietly intimidate military voters without anyone noticing and cruise into four more years this November.

We will not allow that to happen.

Fax Congress now!
