Earlier this week, we reported that a lone Obama Judge, District Court Judge Jon Tigar, was defying the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and reimposing a nationwide injunction against President Trump's new asylum policy.

The 9th Circuit had previously rolled back Jon Tigar's injunction, ruling that he did not have the power to block the policy from going into effect in New Mexico or Texas. The Obama judge defied the 9th Circuit Court by reinstating his nationwide injunction anyway.

Obviously, the Trump administration filed an emergency motion with the 9th Circuit for them to get this Obama judge under control. The 9th Circuit, in record time, approved the motion and rolled back Jon Tigar's nationwide injunction for a second time.

This is truly remarkable, but it shows just how important the 2016 election was. The 9th Circuit Court has 29 Appellate Judges. Donald Trump has put 7 of his own nominees onto the 9th Circuit bench since his inauguration. That is more than any other Appeals Court in the country.

And the results speak for themselves.

We also see how lower courts are dealing with this. I can only imagine how it must have felt for Jon Tigar. Appointed to the bench by Obama in 2013, Tigar must have expected the liberal bloc of judges to dominate for decades to come. Now that Trump's appointees are bringing the 9th Circuit back towards sanity, you can expect more partisans like Tigar to lash out.

We will keep an eye on this story to see if Jon Tigar defies the 9th Circuit for a second time. If he does, this could be the most open-and-shut case for judicial impeachment that we have seen in years...
