It is now generally accepted that the likely origin of COVID-19 was the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Forbes published a piece last month entitled, “Timeline: How The Covid Lab Leak Origin Story Went From 'Conspiracy Theory' To Government Debate.”

The piece appears to be a regurgitation of the Washington Post’s timeline from May of 2021. Looking at the timelines together, as an American taxpayer that suffered under the government response to covid, I am scratching my head.

Dec. 30, 2019: The Wuhan Municipal Health Commission issues an “urgent notice” to medical institutions in Wuhan, saying that cases of pneumonia of unknown cause have emerged from the city’s Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market.

Jan. 23, 2020: Daily Mail: “China built a lab to study SARS and Ebola in Wuhan — and U.S. biosafety experts warned in 2017 that a virus could ‘escape’...”

Jan. 26, 2020: Washington Times: “Coronavirus may have originated in lab linked to China’s biowarfare program.”

Jan 30, 2020: Senator Tom Cotton, during an Armed Services Committee hearing, says: “This coronavirus is a catastrophe on the scale of Chernobyl for China…I would note that Wuhan has China’s only biosafety level-four super laboratory that works with the world’s most deadly pathogens to include, yes, coronavirus.”

Feb 16, 2020: New York Times: “Senator Tom Cotton Repeats Fringe Theory of Coronavirus Origins: Scientists have dismissed suggestions that the Chinese government was behind the outbreak, but it’s the kind of tale that gains traction among those who see China as a threat.”

Feb. 19, 2020: A statement is published in Lancet by a group of 27 scientists: “We stand together to strongly condemn conspiracy theories suggesting that covid-19 does not have a natural origin…[Scientists] overwhelmingly conclude that this coronavirus originated in wildlife.” Peter Daszak, president of EcoHealth Alliance (WIV funder), drafted and organized the statement.

March 11, 2020: Scientific American publishes the “Bat Lady” feature – a profile of virologist Shi Zhengli – which included, “If coronaviruses were the culprit, she remembers thinking, ‘Could they have come from our lab?’” According to the piece she frantically went through her lab’s records, but “breathed a sigh of relief when the results came back: none of the sequences matched those of the viruses her team had sampled from bat caves.”

March 17, 2020: Nature Medicine (authored by an influential group of scientists): “Although the evidence shows that SARSCoV-2 is not a purposefully manipulated virus…in related coronaviruses in nature, we do not believe that any type of laboratory-based scenario is plausible.”

See how that story arc worked? Over the next two years, the timeline shows the government setting up their plausible deniability through the intelligence community and closed sessions, while using their media apparatus to publicly claim the lab leak theory was “debunked.”

The Washington Post put out this article legitimizing the theory in May of 2021. But only now are we allowed to openly discuss it, in February 2023 as Forbes regurgitates the WaPo article two whole years later. Where was Congress on this issue in May 2021?

How many scientists were silenced? How many doctors were persecuted, lost their practices, jailed? How many Americans that require social media for their livelihoods and small businesses were banned or censored for posting information that the government knew to be true?

How many people died because the government lied about Coronavirus to drive a political outcome, violate our rights, and amass unconstitutional power?

Justice is coming.

DEMAND FOR REMEDY: Declassify it all and release it publicly. It’s not enough to declassify the origin and cover-up information for yourselves. You’ve lost the trust of the American people.

It’s time for transparency in government. Remember your oath.
