Dear Conservative,
Three months ago, I warned you that the Obama administration was adjusting its immigration enforcement policies and beginning to allow people into the country with “limited terrorist ties.” I told you that this was going to be just the beginning of the Obama administration relaxing the immigration restrictions on terrorist supporters. Many people told me that was ridiculous and that no President would ever let terrorists and terrorist supporters enter the country legally.
I wish I was wrong in my prediction. But I wasn’t.
Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) has gotten his hands on a trove of semi-redacted documents and emails between Homeland Security employees debating whether to allow Jamal Badawi, an advocate of suicide bombing and a financier of Hamas and Hezbollah, and other clear and significant terrorist supporters into the United States.
This should have been a pretty clear “No,” right?
Well, it appears logic and the fundamentals of national security and counter-terrorism escapes the Obama administration, because they let Mr. Badawi come into the United States multiple times throughout Obama’s time in office.
Why? Well, Obama administration officials decided that Jamal Badawi was on the “hands off list” of terrorists and terrorist supporters.
When I read this, I spit out my coffee. Why the hell does the Obama administration have a “hands off list” of potential terrorists? Every damn terrorist and terrorist supporter shouldn’t be allowed to board a flight to the United States, let alone get through customs!
What on earth is this country coming to?
The Obama administration has already changed the regulations to allow individuals into the United States even if they provided “limited material support” to terrorist groups. Now, that limit has slowly been expanded to the point where hardline terrorist supporters are now on a “hands off” list.
Not everyone in Homeland Security agreed with this decision. In one of the few released emails, one department official said that he was “puzzled how someone could be a member of the Muslim Brotherhood and unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial, be an associate of [redacted], say that the U.S. is staging car bombings in Iraq and that [it] is ok for men to beat their wives, question who was behind the 9/11 attacks, and be afforded the luxury of a visitor visa and de-watchlisted.”
That is what the Obama administration is currently doing. They are looking at visa applicants who are hardened terrorist supporters and sympathizers and they are letting them into the country anyway!
Sen. Chuck Grassley is desperately trying to get the White House to release these un-redacted documents; however there isn’t much time left. For years, the Department of Homeland Security has been purging its internal records of hundreds of terror suspects. Time is of the essence! Congress must subpoena these documents before the Obama administration is able to classify and shred them!
Is this what Barack H. Obama meant when he promised to “fundamentally transform America?” Sure, the United States wasn’t perfect before the “Chosen One” entered office in 2009. But do you know what we were pretty damn good at? Making sure that terrorists weren’t allowed to legally migrate to the United States!
All that is ancient history now... There is now overwhelming evidence that Obama administration officials turned a blind eye to terrorists entering the United States and some officials even argued on behalf of these people being allowed to come here.
I have no idea whether Obama signed off on this. I would like to think that the President of the United States would have enough common sense not to let terrorists legally enter the country. Then again, I have been wrong before!
We need to take this country back this November; there is no doubt about that. But first, we need stop the Obama administration from opening up our doors to terrorists, their supporters, and people who would love nothing more than to watch America burn!
We live in a country where American citizens are groped and violated for trying to get on an airplane but known terrorists are put on a “hands off” list when they try to enter the country! It makes absolutely no sense!
This isn’t my America… This isn’t your America… This must be stopped!
