Congress has once again proven that they care more about getting a tan than they do about getting the people's work done.

Do you remember when Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell swore from the rooftops that they would pass President Trump's agenda within the first 100 days? They promised healthcare reform, tax cuts, funding for a border wall, defunding Planned Parenthood, passing 2nd Amendment bills, you name it...

Well, the first 100 days of the Trump Presidency came and went. What was the GOP leadership's new plan after they missed their deadline? They would get it all done in 200 days. Well, yesterday the GOP admitted that they weren't going to be able to pass many of these bills in time.

Do you want to know where Congress will be on the 200th Day of the Trump Presidency? No, they won't be working. They will be on vacation.

That's right. Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell have declared that the agenda YOU voted for will have to wait because they need to go to the beach... Actually, that's not fair. They might not go to the beach. The last vacation, Paul Ryan chose to go to Disney Land...

They're talking about taking the entire month of August off. That's in addition to a week off for Independence Day and a four-or-five day weekend every other week.

I don't know about you, but where I come from, vacations are rewards that have to be earned. And Congress sure hasn't earned a vacation!

Don't let the liberal, Republican turncoats run out the clock! Send your instantaneous FaxBlast and demand that they cancel their vacation and get to work, or else!

More and more Congressmen and Senators are coming out and demanding that Ryan and McConnell cancel the scheduled month-long vacation in August. Senator David Perdue of Georgia is just the latest to demand the recess be cancelled. The entire Freedom Caucus has also demanded Ryan cancel the vacation as well. Both moderates and Conservatives understand they cannot afford to waste the opportunity the voters gave them.

It's working. Congress is hearing your outrage and the GOP members are starting to turn on the leadership.

Paul Ryan and Co. think they've earned a vacation.

No.

Wait, let me think again...

No.

There is so much we have to accomplish. Building the wall, repealing Obamacare, tax cuts, expanding gun rights, defunding the UN and Planned Parenthood, ending sanctuary cities (which may get a vote this week), the list goes on and on.

Our message is clear: If Congress wants a vacation, they're going to need to earn it. And they haven't earned one yet.

They are going to try to paint this vacation as a chance to meet with constituents. The last time Paul Ryan was supposed to be having a "district day" in Wisconsin, he spent it at Disney Land in California.

For goodness sake, Paul Ryan promised to pass the President's agenda within the first 200 days and he has scheduled a vacation for the 200th day! If they would rather vacation than do the people's work, then they need to be sent on a permanent vacation and fired.

We worked too hard for this. We spent the past eight years fighting to stop the Obama legacy from taking root. Now that we have a chance to move the country back in the right direction, Congress would rather vacation than do the work.

This is your moment to put your foot down and draw your line in the sane. Tell Congress they either cancel their vacation and get to work, or they will be sent on a permanent vacation!

Demand action now! Send your instantaneous FaxBlast and demand that they cancel their vacation and get to work, or else!
