Joe Biden just announced a ridiculous agenda to waste billions more in taxpayer dollars and destroy the reliability of our armed forces.
At an Earth Day appearance on Friday, Joe Biden announced significant infrastructure investment for climate change. Joe Biden is upholding the disastrous “Green New Deal” policies that will further bankrupt the United States.
Biden committed to making every military vehicle “climate friendly”, even setting aside 773 billion dollars to the Department of Defense as part of his 5.8 trillion dollar 2023 budget proposal.
Biden called the spending plan the "largest investment in our national security in history," while ensuring the U.S. military "remains the best-prepared, best-trained, best-equipped military in the world.”
The budget proposes $773 billion for the Department of Defense for 2023 alone! American taxpayers will carry the weight of these terrible financial decisions for generations. The current administration is destroying America while shamelessly filling the pockets of their corporate cronies.
Congress and in particular, the House of Representatives—is invested with the “power of the purse,” the ability to tax and spend public money for the national government.
Yet Joe Biden flagrantly said, ”One of the things I found out as President of the United States, I get to spend a lot of that money". "We’re going to start the process where every vehicle in the United States military, every vehicle, is going to be climate-friendly — every vehicle — I mean it."
