The evidence presented thus far indicates egregious practices, including the alleged payment of impoverished mothers for their children, with promises of facilitating their entry into the United States via our open border, only to subsequently vanish them. Guatemalan prosecutors have uncovered instances of abuse on migrant children and have identified involvement from both US and other NGO groups in these illicit operations.

Furthermore, it is deeply troubling to learn of the concerted efforts to impede the work of Attorney General Consuelo Porras of Guatemala, who has been diligently investigating election fraud and the involvement of both the Guatemalan government and US entities in human trafficking. These attempts to obstruct justice are unacceptable and demand immediate intervention.

As your constituent, I demand that Congress takes decisive action to launch a thorough and transparent investigation into these alarming allegations. The United States must not engage in the manipulation of other nations' political affairs, and our NGOs must be held accountable for any complicity in the exploitation and trafficking of vulnerable individuals, particularly children.
